Rex Petit in Stockholm

I was surprised to find a staff member who spoke fluent Japanese. The other staff were also very kind.
My room was in the basement, but it felt spacious with a high ceiling and white walls.
It's close to the subway and bus stations, and close to Central Station, so it was a reasonably priced place to stay.
There were also supermarkets and convenience stores nearby.
The breakfast had a wide variety of ham and cheese, and was more substantial than I expected.

The shower has limited temperature control, the pillows are uncomfortable and may affect rest, and having to make the upper bed yourself can be inconvenient in such a tight space. Adjusting these aspects would make the overall experience far smoother and more enjoyable.

I stayed on my own at Rex Petit and had a lovely experience. The staff were friendly and helpful when I had a question about my onward journey. My room was small but adequate for a short break for one person and the bathroom was lovely. It’s really well located for public transport connections with a metro station two minutes away. Also the free coffee in the lobby was greatly appreciated!

We had an amazing time staying at petit rex. We were pretty sure we would get a tiny room without windows but somehow lucked out and got a groundfloor room with windows, so that was a good surprice. We had asked for extra towels and maybe they forgot or the normal amount ot towels for 2 people is 1 medium sized one each 😉 and a bunch of hand towels. No biggie. the workers were kind and helpful. the room clean. and the breakfast, my my, was more than fine. Long time to enjoy it, in a cute glass structure in the inner courtyard, with lots of options. My only tiny complaint is that the orange juice tastes like weak orange drink instead. 10/10 would recommend.

Jennifer is all. Rex Petit is like Sweden before 2001. It is the famous welfare state we all knew. But, in this case, it is the welfare state 2023! They know, Jennifer know!. Well, what can I say? Jennifer!

Great small hotel with really tiny rooms but for low prices compared to other Stockholm accommodations.

Customer service was wonderful. The double room is very cozy. I wouldn't share it with anyone I wasn't totally comfortable with. The rooms are advertised as soundproof but they are not. Overall good location and great service!

The room was good, free breakfast buffé and free tea and coffee all the day.
The location is good as well, about 1.7 km off the ccentral station and near to a metro station, Macdonald and some other restaurants and the library.
