Location by far the best in the city(and I've stayed at almost all of them in Engelberg). 5 min to the train via a path, 2 min to the lift and 4-5 min to Ski Lodge. The other side of town(Terrace etc.) is only a couple minutes more. Very good breakfast, large spa area and probably the friendliest staff in the alps. Decent rooms and comfy beds.

Hotel is a bit dated, but the staff were exceptionally nice. Not a long walk at all for one of the lift stations, and you can easily take the bus there to the train station and take a bus from there to another lift. Do the 4 lakes hike it is beautiful!

Very nice and comfortable stay at Cathrin. Hotel manager was very caring in nature and gave lot of information on the place and local tourest attractions.

Great place. Close to the mountain cables. 5 minutes walking. Rooms are a little bit small. But cozy. Very helpful staff !!!

Very friendly, allowed early check in free of charge. Within walking distance to Titlis. Free breakfast buffet included.
