A lifetime experience. Supreme hospitality, view from the balcony was breathtaking. Good food, great environment. They got foosball faciluty. Windows is almost all the rooms for a crispy view of outside. I would definitely go once more.

Simple and clean rooms. The view from the balcony is really good. The downside is that you have to hike in potentially slippery slopes to get to the hotel, unless you have a motor vehicle to get you there. Very family oriented hotel, lots of fun things for the kids to do. Staffs are very friendly as well.

Stayed in the hotel almost three years back. Reached late in the night due to heavy snowfall on the way. But even after reaching there, staff greeted us happily and served us warm dinner. Everything was as we expected. Rooms were clean with cozy bed. Breakfast buffet was super and they do serve Indian breakfast with Indian chai on request. Chef in the kitchen and staff at the reception was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Location by far the best in the city(and I've stayed at almost all of them in Engelberg). 5 min to the train via a path, 2 min to the lift and 4-5 min to Ski Lodge. The other side of town(Terrace etc.) is only a couple minutes more. Very good breakfast, large spa area and probably the friendliest staff in the alps. Decent rooms and comfy beds.

Hotel is a bit dated, but the staff were exceptionally nice. Not a long walk at all for one of the lift stations, and you can easily take the bus there to the train station and take a bus from there to another lift. Do the 4 lakes hike it is beautiful!

The hotel has a very nice atmosphere - a 19th century villa with big windows and a lot of lights, hard wood floors. It's conveniently located in Engelberg village. We haven't seen any staff, but everything was very smooth - the reception is unmanned, an envelope with a key was waiting for us when we arrived, the staff was responsive via messages. There is also a lovely kitchen for hotel guests

I loved this little hotel. It’s in the middle of a quaint town surrounding by the beautiful Alps. It’s an older hotel but perhaps that’s what I enjoyed most. The charm of staying in an authentic Swiss hotel. Open your balcony doors and hear the church bells ringing throughout the town. And enjoy the odd elevator without a door! Or maybe it’s just odd because we don’t see that in the US. I loved it

Had a great experience here. A traditional Swiss chalet type hotel with wooden flooring and vintage kind of set up with modern amenities. Beautifully located. Lovely view of Alps from balcony. Nice restaurants nearby.

It is very clean but rooms are not comfortable. Super-small washroom, sink outside. Broken tiles at the ceiling. Small, narrow beds. Ok for staying 1 night. Nice lounge.

The Hotel was an experience for me! The decor and rooms are a little bit dated but I had a feeling of being in a real alpine ski hut. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The Hotel also has a great bar area. The breakfast was very basic though but I would stay there again.

Lovely hotel! We booked the apartment and it was comfortable, nice and clean. The facilities are great and they have individual ski/snowboard equipment locker for each room. The dinner at the main restaurant was amazing and staffs are very polite and lovely. Our family had a really good time here. Will definitely come again for another ski holiday.

We rented an appartment and loved the space, location and very qualitative equipment. A super place with very kind staff to discover Engelberg and sureoundings!

The hospitality is more than amazing ! The food in the restaurant by the attic is unexplainable… the rooms are artistic and super amazing … the hotel is a piece of art … it was built is 1780 and hosted the first Rico in Switzerland! The most satisfactory hotel in Switzerland, Engelberg is my favorite town. Next time I come, I will go straight to this hotel. It is very comfortable to walk around the town and climb the mountains. I booked dinner, which was very exquisite. Softbank was included. There was someone playing the piano in the restaurant every night.

Room Environment: Excellent, you can see the beautiful view while lying on the bed, the balcony is super big. The chocolate honey 🍯 is delicious. There is also a concert 🎼. I will stay here again!

We had a two days offsite with a group of 40 people from the company Roche in the hotel and everything was perfect. The staff really made sure that we had a great stay and nothing was left out. Thank you again to the whole team and we would be very pleased to go back there!

The hotel is located in the mid-levels which you can oversee the mountains in the restaurant and the balcony in your room. It is a simple, quiet and beautiful boutique hotel with no air-conditioner. 40minutes drive from the center of Luzern. The rooms and all facilities are clean and tidy (twice-daily room service!). The views are breathtaking. We couldn’t recommend this place more. The location, hotel, spa area, and most of all, Hotel Waldegg staff are impeccable. Whether you are searching for an active ski holiday or a relaxing trip with leisure and views, this is an excellent choice.

I stayed 2 nights at this hotel. The hotel is old and does not have special options. You can sleep well and when you go to Engelberg the last thing to do is to stay at a hotel for a long time! So, it is fine to sleep, have breakfast, and enjoy your trip. You will find yourself at home at this hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. The only problem is that sometimes you can't find any of them...

Good 3 star hotel. Very friendly service is a cool atmosphere. Very good breakfast and their restaurant- Brasserie Konrad - is quite good too (their burger is really nice). Rooms are quite small - as it is a small building- but they could be better equipped. Insonorisation is not great due to the age of the building. Good experience overall in a nice location

This place is just far than amazing, is 1min walking from the train station and they are all great staff. The attention was perfect and they were so considerate with our doubts, food is amazing and they even plan quiz nights, activities, etc. Would have loved to stay longer!!

We had a wonderful time here. The staff went above and beyond. They were all very friendly. The breakfast was great. There is a path right behind the Inn that goes to the mountain. A short walk away. The train station is right across the street, however we never heard anything. We can’t say enough good things about this place, its staff, and its location.

The best hotel in the area. The spa is awesome and very big (2 different areas), just perfect to relax after a long trip, the staff is attentive, the breakfast was OK. We went to the indoor Swimming pool on 3 occasions. This is really great for the kids. There is a water slide and a lot of different water falls, bubble baths and Jacuzzi to keep them entertained. For the grownups there is plenty of opportunity to relax and kick back after a long day of skiing. The pricing is somewhat steep but doable for all that is offered.

It's a good Hotel !!! In midst of the mountains and away from the hustle and bustle... Has its open small fod and other quick shopping store... Has its own great restaurant and the best is their indoor heated Pool.. Special children's pool with a slide and sauna!! Also has Jacuzzi area...

My wife and adult daughter stayed October 18-20 and had a wonderful stay. The hotel staff were very helpful and there were LOTS of informational brochures in the lobby. The location was perfect in the old town portion of Engelberg, and the hotel, which is older, had modern room features like doors, windows, beds and bathroom stuff. The breakfast was typical Swiss and very good and fresh. I highly recommend

The breakfast was fabulous, I loved it. The room was nice, basic but comfortable; bed very good. Shower was great. Really good base for trips from Engelberg. I wish there was a kettle in the room - "hot" water available on 1st floor was not hot so could not make tea whenever I liked. I also think it was on the expensive side, but it was a Saturday night after all! Overall 4/5 stars.

Very good accommodation. The location is perfect, the Coop supermarket is close and there are some nice little shops nearby. The breakfast was very tasty and the staff friendly :)

Really good and worth recommending

Engelberg is the land of angels. Tranquility and beauty are the main features of this place. A hotel in Switzerland for more than 2,000 RMB. Don't expect many choices for breakfast. The room and bedding are clean. It's a short walk from the station and supermarket. Hiking is convenient. Overall good.

Fantastic hotel in the center of Engelberg. Can’t recommend it highly enough, spotlessly clean, warm and extremely and caring staff. Dinner in restaurant was good. Rooms comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

We had an excellent 6-night stay at Hotel Crystal. It is well situated in town, close to the lifts, bus, and bahnhof. Rooms were clean, linens and towels changed daily. The two sisters managing Crystal now are like B&B hosts; very accommodating, always available, and patient with questions. The hotel restaurant is rated highly with locals. Very friendly staff. Will stay again on next visit.

A great location for the hotel at the foot of Mt Titlis. A breathtaking view of the snow capped mountain range from the rooms on the back side of the hotel. The ropeway to the top is at a walking distance from the hotel

One of my favorite hotels I’ve stayed in Switzerland! Reception is very friendly and helpful, guided me on the best hikes, recommendations and experiences!! The room was huge! Balcony was beautiful with a great view. Breakfast was delicious with some of the best oatmeal I’ve ever eaten. Bed was comfortable and shower was great! Location can’t be beat right in the center of the town and two minutes...

Good rooms, close to the railway station. perfect heating system

The room is nice and a huge bathroom. We took the Halbpension, this means you get breakfast and dinner. You only pay 35 CHF for a decent dinner - this is a really good bargain in the expensive Switzerland. The staff is extremely nice and the waiter in the restaurant for dinner is so nice. I recommend this hotel and it has a reasonable price.

We visited on a group tour in Switzerland and stayed here. I found it good as it was close to Mount Titlis. It only serves breakfast. Staff is good, overall a small budget hotel. From the hotel you can easily walk down the lanes of Engelberg and enjoy coffee on street cafes.

Great place if you are here for the Wintersports. The spa and jacuzzi are relieving after a day of skiing. Staff is helpful. The only concern is that some of the rooms are a little cramped. They are clean and well maintained.

It is typical cosy, homey family hotel. Nice, clean and comfortable. Take a breakfast here, every delicious. There's always complimentary tie and coffee during night time. If you need something stronger then you can find wine, beer at affordable price.

Great location. Very friendly staff. The rooms and the ski setup are very well done! You drop your bag at the bottom it comes up while you ski. They give you crocs to walk in the hotel. No need to bring shoes. It is a skier hotel!
