The central location with the balcony overlooking the Allalin River is fantastic. The room was quite large and clean, no complaints there. The breakfast was terrible. Everything was missing, and it was served in a bakery! The owner was friendly, but the person in charge of breakfast was a surefire way to drive customers away.

Had a great weeks stay... Comfortable room, nice include breakfast to get the day going, and the owner and staff were all very nice and friendly... Can't wait to return for another visit. Photos are the few from the balcony!

We had a very nice stay in the Hotel Imseng. Nicely sized room with bathtub in great location made our stay very comfortable. Breakfast in neighbour hotel was excellent and rich in choice. Staff we got in touch to was beyond welcoming and made sure we are feeling the best we can. Thank you

The hotel is comfortable and the staff always kind and helpful.

The room was new and clean with a great view. The terrace was spacious and airy. The only downside is the location; it's on high ground and requires a long, steep uphill climb. You should call the hotel for a car beforehand.

The hotel room is good enough for a family of three, we have a young boy aged 14, and we were here for the marmots.

It was great staying at the Europa Hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There were great views of the ski slopes from the breakfast room. The room rate is very good too. I look forward to being back again in the future. I highly recommend thie Europa Hotel

Hotel Europa simply put, is THE BEST! I highly recommend a stay here. Their staff is outstanding and every meal we had was exquisite. I especially loved the fondue, it was some of the best I have had in Switzerland. Also, the view is incredible!

I have great memories of this place and spent many summers there. Centrally located, comfortable and cozy. Highly recommended!

Simple hotel, but nice room for that category. Very clean and comfortable. Excellent price/value relationship. The staff of the nearby affiliated hotel is very nice and welcoming - but there is no reception directly at the Burgener. Very good restaurant and bar within the premises with a nice offer, great atmosphere and friendly staff. Perfectly situated near all of the main lifts up the mountain....

The food quality was really poor, even more considering the prices. They had only Heineken on tap and the mulled wine was probably coming from a brick. To sum up, super convenient location and nice place, but only to have a drink (although not a beer or a mulled wine 😅)

Very kind staff around, prices are a bit high but I think it is normal in this town. Had the Rusti with cheese and tomatoes and it was nice, but would not make that choice again. Apfelstrudel was very very nice. Give them a try, it is still worth it at the end.

Some of the lowest prices in town but this hotel needs to be renovated ASAP. Paper thin walls, small and uncomfortable beds, 1950s design. Reception is not open regularly so you will basically be dealing with The Larix at the end of the street (5 minute walk).

It is not perfect, but I do not expect more for that price. The breakfast is good. However, the breakfast room is a bit cold. The room itself is clean, big enough and comfortable. The table is quite small. If a lot of people take a shower at the same time, the water temperature can rise and fall quite suddenly. Again this is all acceptable for that price.

This review is about the restaurant only: Impressive location, overlooking a small gorge with a river running through it. Large windows offering stunning views, even at night, when the rocks are well lit (tip: ask for a table next to the windows). The service was professional and friendly, but the food has room for improvement. The red prawn pasta was swimming in butter and the portion was quite small...

We visited the restaurant in the off season, which I highly recommend. Beautiful location over a small gorge/canyon. The service was excellent and very friendly. I would recommend reservations in advance in the main season. The food was very delicious and the price/quality ratio is really good.

A short stay, a very good stay. We had two nights in La Gorge towards the end of the ski season and, without doubt, would return. At a similar price as other hotels in Saas-Fee like the Capra, this hotel felt a bit underwhelming. Room is nice, but the breakfast is very basic and the hotel doesn’t have too much to offer. Additionally, the service was average. The lady at the front desk refused to take us to the station with our heavy luggage, making up excuses like “I can’t drive”, but eventually took us when we showed our disappointment...

Great place with fantastic staff. It’s definitely worth visiting for dinner, but I wouldn’t particularly recommend the venison stew, which was a bit too dry / chewy….

My family and I had an incredible meal at the saaser stube on September 5, 2025. From the excellent bread with special butter to the lovely beef croquettes (compliments of the chef) to the fantastic Angus burger with home made pickles and superb fries it was an gastronomic dream. Other members of my family had the kaese knoedel which I tasted and and thought excellent as well...great and attentive...

We visited yesterday for a burger with fries and were absolutely impressed! The burger was incredible, the atmosphere was perfect, and the service was a solid 10/10. Huge thanks to Theresa, Marina, and the young gentleman who served us – I didn’t catch his name. Everything was fantastic, and we’ll definitely be coming back. Thank you!

The apartment was even better than we expected from the photos / description. Spacious, modern, beautifully decorated, and with great attention to detail. Great location and very friendly staff. The restaurant was excellent as well. Perfect for a family of 4, great tech as well as amenities.

They apartment was just amazing and the place is just right next to the bars and the ski lift. It was really spacious and cosy at the same time. Definitely going again and a raclette in the appartment.

Nice spacious 3 bed room. Good location which can easily be reached from the bus terminal within a 3 minutes walk. Lots of restaurants and bars all in walking distance. Bit still the place is very quiet. The breakfast is nice and served until 10am

This was our third stay as a couple, always the weekend closest to our birthdays. We love the skiing and the mountains, and we really enjoy the quality of the spa facilities, the Saunas, Jacuzzi and the quiet room with view on the Alallin.
