We enjoyed our stay so much that we extended our visit once and decided to stay again on our return journey. The property is beautiful, and the owners are very kind and well-organized.

Great little resort, very well designed and managed. Rooms are large, well equipped and very comfortable. The owners are extremely kind and helpful. You need a car or motorbike to get to restaurants and the beach areas. Has good quality EV AC chargers on site very easy to use so you can stay and charge overnight.

Super clean large rooms with every convenience. The owner/manager is exceptionally friendly and helpful. There are a few dogs and cats on the property who reflect the friendlessness of the owner. It appears they were strays and benefit from a compassionate owner. They do not bother and there is no trace of dander or smell so don't worry if you have allergies. If you are looking for a great value, clean, and comfortable accomodations with friendly owners then this is the place to go when in the area of Sam Roi Yot or Pranburi. Whether you stay a few days or as a stop over from Bangkok to the South try the Hillside. Highly Recommended

Lovely and welcoming place with hosts that really made you feel at home. Friendly dogs and cats roaming the grounds. Very good breakfast. It's set a bit back from the beach but excellent for hiking or trail running on nearby Peacock mountain. There's also a nice viewpoint nearby where you can catch the sunset.

This hotel was suggested to me by a friend and I was really happy about it. Khun Dee the generous owner greets you (as well as her super nice dogs!): very friendly and a good source of local information, she’ll always ask if you need something. If you ride a motorbike, be sure to ask her for some ride recommendations as the area is full of excellent roads with beautiful scenery! The area is a little outside (4-5 km at most) of the local towns or the beach but you can rent motorbikes at Hillside too (unsure of price as I have my own) and it takes literally 5-8 min to get anywhere this way for food, drinks, etc. The location is quiet at night and the sky view is gorgeous! The rooms are spacious and clean, beds comfortable and there are some inexpensive emergency instant noodles and rice porridge if you are too hungry to go out! There is a pool and a garden area where you can cool down and relax after exploring the many beaches around Pak Nam Pran or national parks south of the area. Definitely a place to return to!

The owner was very friendly and so were the animals. It made it difficult to leave. It's a great place to catch your breath while traveling South.
The beachfront is a 5 minutes drive. It is quiet and beautiful. We may have to return on our way back to Bangkok.
