Ibis is far from any shops or restaurants but the beach nearby is better than the beach in town which you can't really swim in because of all the rocks. The room was quite spacious, actually two rooms combined with a connecting hallway. The decor was also very modern. There was a good variety for breakfast and it tasted great. Plus, it's super close to the water park, and staying at the hotel gets you free admission tickets to the park.

We upgraded our room to a sea view, and the breakfast was also excellent and plentiful. The rooftop pool was amazing and not crowded. The amusement park downstairs was very convenient, and ordering takeout via Grab was a breeze. You can also get to the beach by walking through the train station.

The family-friendly entertainment facilities are abundant, with a large water park, an indoor kids' club, and a game center. It's just a five-minute walk to the Tamarind Night Market and Cicada Market, which is very convenient for browsing and dining. The hotel also provides a shuttle bus to the city center.

A wonderful place, right at the beach, only not no sandy beach, the sea comes strait up to a wall. There are stairs to go into the sea, but better only when it is calm weather, otherwise difficult to get into and out of the sea. This hotel feels so homey! I stayed for 1 week and truly enjoyed my time here. It’s a friendly hotel, especially for golfers. We have stayed here before and found the staff great. It has a fantastic pool and is situated in a great location. The downfall for the price is not having a walk-in shower. Having to climb into a bath to shower is far from great. Always concerned about slipping. The shower curtain over the bath could do with a thorough cleaning. Breakfast, if you choose to have it, is basic and not appealing.
