The room was quite spacious, actually two rooms combined with a connecting hallway. The decor was also very modern. There was a good variety for breakfast and it tasted great. Plus, it's super close to the water park, and staying at the hotel gets you free admission tickets to the park.

We upgraded our room to a sea view, and the breakfast was also excellent and plentiful. The rooftop pool was amazing and not crowded. The amusement park downstairs was very convenient, and ordering takeout via Grab was a breeze. You can also get to the beach by walking through the train station.

The family-friendly entertainment facilities are abundant, with a large water park, an indoor kids' club, and a game center. It's just a five-minute walk to the Tamarind Night Market and Cicada Market, which is very convenient for browsing and dining. The hotel also provides a shuttle bus to the city center.

Ibis is far from any shops or restaurants but the beach nearby is better than the beach in town which you can't really swim in because of all the rocks. It's a winner if you are coming for a swim at the beach although tbh the beaches in Hua Hin aren't great. Better than Pattaya. lol. As for the rooms they are good. A wonderful place, right at the beach, only not no sandy beach, the sea comes strait up to a wall. There are stairs to go into the sea, but better only when it is calm weather, otherwise difficult to get into and out of the sea. The Standard Hua Hin lived up to my expectations, even though I booked three months in advance. There weren't many Chinese or local guests; most were Westerners. Breakfast was good, with variety every day, and even better on weekends.

Unexpectedly all facilities was all really outdated. We don’t mine to stay in heritage facilities but even with the best maintenance one day it is over. The most gorgeous hotel we have ever stayed. It was quiet and intimate. Carved into a jungle with the natural vegetation left in tact. Even a lagoon in the middle of the resort with wildlife. Staying here is a new family tradition. We loved our experience!

We have stayed here before and found the staff great. It has a fantastic pool and is situated in a great location. The downfall for the price is not having a walk-in shower. Having to climb into a bath to shower is far from great. Always concerned about slipping. The shower curtain over the bath could do with a thorough cleaning. Breakfast, if you choose to have it, is basic and not appealing.
