Bric Box Hotel Buriram in Buri Ram

In October 2021 I booked two rooms at Bric Box Hotel in Buriram City Thailand. for the period 29 September to 3 October at a cost of around $650.00 per room. Our plan was to use the rooms to watch MotoGP at Chang track because the hotel adjoins the track. The booking was made through *********** and was confirmed by email. Based on the confirmed bookings we booked international flights and other accommodation etc for our trip. On 17 June, without any warning I received an email from Booking .com advising that the hotel would no loner honor our bookings. No apology, no explanation. Just a cheery footnote that fortunately we would not have to pay for the cancellation . Buriram City is now completely booked out for those dates. There is NOTHING available. Thank you Bric Box, we have wasted thousands on international flights etc for you to do this thoughtless, heartless cancellation. If there was an innocent explanation I am sure we would have been told but a close friend who has connections with Bric Box has informed me that Bric Box decided to accept a higher offer for the rooms so arbitrarily cancelled my bookings.
