Luckswan resort in Chiang Rai City

The hotel is truly beautiful and exceeded our expectations. My friend and I paid $26 per night, including the breakfast buffet, which is excellent value. The staff were extremely helpful—when I mentioned the air conditioner was noisy, they promptly and happily changed our room. The location is also very convenient, close to the famous Blue Temple.

I stayed here for five days and I had a great experience. The rooms are big, the service is excellent and the staff at reception are all super helpful and respond to any issue quickly. The hotel is a bit outside from the city, and I was disappointed at first that I had to take a taxi to go to any of the sightseeing spots, but then I totally appreciated the peace and quiet of the location after returning from a busy day exploring. The Blue temple is right in front of the hotel and almost next door is a fabulous spa with a restaurant/cafe. The buffet breakfast was great, with a wide variety but of course Asian food, including vegetarian options plus they serve eggs.

You get more than what you pay for with this hotel, but it’s definitely not a four star hotel. The rooms are big and comfortable, but in need of renovation. The free wifi doesn’t work well in the rooms and there is no kettle, no hand soaps and only basic amenities. Still I’ll give it a four star rating because of the value for money. I will definitely stay here again.

Just next to Blue Temple, very convenient location. Only short ride to the city, but feels so much more quiet, green and peaceful. Stuff super helpful, very nice, friendly and professional. Highly recommend if you want to get some rest in a beautiful setting 😊

Surprised with so low rating of this hotel. Hotel is nice and clean. The breakfast was good. Location is not the best one, but just a few steps from the Blue temple. Would stay there again

The room with a sea view is very nice. Unfortunately you have to take the stairs for two floors. This was a bit difficult with the suitcases as the staircase is very narrow.

Overall, I am quite satisfied. Because it is a resort design, when you enter the hotel lobby from the roadside, there is a large open space and a small garden, which makes you feel relatively quiet. After all, the age is there, and the facilities are relatively old. Perhaps based on the reviews of guests, the bathroom is in better condition than expected this time, with no mold or old stains; however, the sound of the air conditioner and bathroom exhaust are relatively loud. . Breakfast is relatively simple, more Western-style, and some Thai-style.
