We were very late with the check-in, but it went smoothly. Rooms are a bit outdated, though comfortable. Breakfast was pretty decent, with multiple things to choose from. Location is TOP!

Great stay at Le Méridien Chiang Rai. The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety and very good quality. Staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and always smiling. Would definitely stay here again.

The facilities are a bit old. It gets noisy on the first floor starting at 8 AM, and the sound of luggage being rolled over the floor tiles near the entrance and cleaning activities is quite disruptive.

This hotel does not provide 2 key cards even when requested. It makes it very inconvenient for guests to freely move around. The whole group has to go out and come back together. Just came here for lunch, this was our stop during one of the tours. The food was buffet styled and pretty good. They had a bunch of different soup, rice, noodles, pad thai bar, etc. Lots of different selection and I think the food tasted pretty nice. It’s a good hotel for the money 💰 shower was excellent a pretty comfy bed, however the breakfast was one of the worst I’ve seen in Asia, the hotel seems to cater for the Asian market with the breakfast even though there are lots of westerners staying there, if you want eggs you have to pay for them and the rest of the stuff on offer was crap! , the coffee was grim! give it a miss 🤣🤣

Very well located, friendly staff and excellent price quality (pool & gym). Breakfast is Asia style (we liked it very much but do not expect a large variety of bread rolls/cold cuts/eggs or fresh brewed coffee). The hotel is designed for bigger groups. A short but very pleasant stay. The hotel is beautiful and offers plenty of space, amenities, and leisure options. Only two points to consider: breakfast choices were somewhat limited, and communication in English with the staff was occasionally a bit challenging, but overall nothing problematic.

Nak Nakara is conveniently located and everything is a short walk away. The staff provided me with a map and highlighted places to go and things to see, which I found to be quite helpful. The room was fairly clean although I did see a few ants in the room. Breakfast was more traditional Thai but did cater fairly well for foreign visitors. Loved the stay, very beautiful landscaping and warm welcoming staff. As as Indian, found the food options to be limited but otherwise everything is very nice. The swimming pool is very good. The resort doesn’t have laundry and ironing service. There’s a shop right across the street but operating hours are limited. Look for the cute cat that roams around, he is very friendly.

We’ve stayed here 3 times now. It’s always a great stay before we fly to Bangkok. I’d love to stay longer next time and relax in the hotel. It’s a quiet peaceful relaxing retreat from the busy world. Overall, the hotel is pretty good, especially its exterior. It's easy to find with a large, visible logo, and the ambiance is very pleasant. I stayed at 6 hotels in Thailand, and this was by far my favorite. I'd love to come back and just spend a week at the A-Star - it was truly magical. The food was good, the room was amazing, and everywhere you look there is beauty. They even grow some of the food they serve there. I'll be back some day!
