We are birders clean tidy cheerful choice of breakfasts coffee on tap good beds. No backache. Good English speakers.

This was the nicest hotel I stayed at in Thailand and it wasn't the most expensive. I had a view of the river room was super clean AC was cranking, they offered fresh fruit with the room everything worked perfect water was super hot staff was super incredible I wish I could live here. I wish they had an elevator though.

The staff is so nice and helpful. They let us using cups and plates to have our own breakfast. Plus they helped us to reach Golden Triangle by public bus. The room is clean and big.

The service is quite enthusiastic and generally speaking it's pretty good.

New, clean, large rooms. Comfortable bed (I'm a picky sleeper, my wife says), newly built. Genuine, friendly staff. I stay here once a year when I visit friends who live in Chiangsaen.

Very nice good producttt will buy againnn next timeee 3 recommend!

I have stayed here a number of times. It has an excellent view across the mekong river.

Buakum is one of my favorite no-frills hotels in Thailand. It's the definition of basic, but the beds and room were CLEAN, prime location, and Watson (sp?) at reception went above and BEYOND. In other words, I thought I knew Thai hospitality, but then I came to Buakum. Don't forget to checkout the rooftop. Thanks y'all!

Best location,.all sightseeing walking distance. Rooms have a fantastic view of the river and Lao. Rooms are big and comfortable. Need little maintenance. Hotel was clean.

Satisfied with my stay here. The location is unbeatable in my opinion. The staff is friendly and helpful. I stayed in the river view room and it was more than you can ask for at the price. There is a coffee shop downstairs with easy access to all sites in walking distance to everything.

Very cool little hotel right on Mekong overlooking the Golden triangle. Markets, opium museum and places to eat right out the front door. Small, unique rooms with amazing views. Staff is really helpful and this is the main advantage of the hotel. Every room in very old condition, in bad meaning because mold smell disturbing me, I asking to change the room, woman on reception let me choose from several free rooms but every of this had same problem.

The atmosphere is nice and peaceful.

It is a little far from the city center. But not too far to walk. On the way, I found immigration. People were eating by the river. It was a memorable sight. On the opposite bank is Laos!

The hotel environment is good, the price is reasonable, and the overall facilities are good. It is mainly close to the city, and there are many convenience stores and restaurants nearby. Next time I come, I will choose this hotel again.

Clean rooms, quiet, not crowded, inexpensive.
