The Mercy Hotel (SHA Plus+) in Chumphon City

I stayed for two nights. The first night, I arrived around 3 a.m. and got a room that smelled musty and had gecko poop in it. The bedding was very itchy, and the shower hose in the bathroom was leaking. In the morning, I asked the staff to change rooms. They did, but initially, they seemed unwilling to. It may have been my fault for requesting a room that wouldn't disturb other rooms, but it wasn't like I was going to get an unclean room. There was no kettle in the room; I had to get hot water in the morning at the dining room. There was ample parking, and it was close to various attractions, making it a bit convenient to get around.

This stay at The Mercy Hotel in Chumphon was quite disappointing compared to my first expectation from the pictures. The location is good and convenient to travel, but there are still many points that should be improved.

This hotel is suitable for those who want a budget accommodation and do not expect much convenience. Hopefully the hotel will improve and develop to be better in the future.
