Neat and good location near downtown. The room is very simple with only shampoo and shower bath, no toothbrush kit and hair dryer. Overall, this is a safe choice.

Liked · Air con Beds.
Disliked · Shower far too hot and low pressure. Stayed on 6th floor half way down corridor You can hear the mechanics of the elevator all night.....low sound but continual. As with all Hop Inns , they are fitted with heavy doors plus an alarm system.....so many other guests, slam the doors and set off door alarm .!! Ridiculous! I won't stay at another,again Evening staff unfriendly but morning staff and maid very happy !!!

Hop Inn is simply unbeatable value for money. They have a very comfortable bed and the room is no nonsense down to earth and clean.

Been in this hotel for the second time and definitely would recommend staying in it while skipping the night between flight and ferry. Location right in the city center near night market street, however away from the hustle and bustle of this street. Neat hotel with friendly staff. You can easily organize the transfer to the airport with their help. Morning kitchen zone supplied with coffee machine and microwave was very useful for us. No problems with water, hot water or noises from the street or neighbouring rooms. Definitely a good place to stay!

Honest opinion? It is Hop Inn so it is a safe choice. It is clean, comfortable and minimalist. There is nothing wrong with it but I think there are better choices for cheaper along the main strip.

Talking about the night market. I went for wander along main strip and around Ocean shopping centre got dinner, a hair cut and a massage. Chumphon is a safe country town.
Decent street food every night.
