The staff were friendly, but the beds were extremely hard. There was construction outside starting around 7–8 am, which made it difficult to sleep.

Mixed feelings about this hotel:

Staff are friendly and helpful although you need Google Translate to communicate if you don’t speak Thai and some info gets misunderstood during translation. Be prepared.

Had to change our room due to very hard bed and noisy dogs barking next door. In the second room, we came to understand that it’s a common problem: extremely firm beds in all rooms (we struggled to sleep every night and ended up getting very sore backs) and noisy neighbours on either side of the hotel. Were woken up multiple mornings by dogs barking, or super loud music playing early hours of the morning. Staff couldn’t help with the situation as they had no skill or courage to communicate with the neighbours to quieten down.

To add more fuel to the fire, the cleaning staff sprayed every single room, every single day with bug spray. Poison lingered everywhere. We asked for them to stop spraying our room and everywhere else because after the first night both myself and husband had a negative reaction to the poison sprayed causing us both to get congestion and sore throats. They stopped spraying our room but continued in all the other rooms. The smell of bug spray was very strong. It still affected us. It was so bad we had to go buy medicine at the pharmacy.

The location is also quite removed and far from the main area where restaurants are. It might be ok if you don’t mind the drive, but adding the other negatives, there is very little left to praise, besides the expected cleanliness of the rooms being up to standard. Also, no breakfast included, though free coffee/tea next to reception.

The owner was kind enough to refund us for the medication we needed to buy and the remaining nights we intended to stay - we left sooner due to all the above reasons.
