Phurang Hill Resort in Kanchanaburi City

Quiet, reasonable rates, very clean, and restaurant has good food.

Let me review the pros and cons.
**Pros**
The room was spacious, relatively clean, had a nice breeze, a table to sit at, and wild boars strolled around in the evenings. There was a garden to walk around in. It was quiet and peaceful. The resort was shady and the bathroom was spacious. It wasn't too far from the city (but it was on the main road, not in the city).
**Cons**
The air conditioning wasn't cold (this might be true for some rooms, but the one I got didn't). The bathroom didn't have separate wet and dry zones. There was no hair dryer. The bathroom clearly looked like it had been sloppily cleaned. The shower head had grime on the faucet, making it hard to handle (I personally think it could be scrubbed off with a good clean). The table at the back of the room (I repeat, splash water and wipe it down before sitting on it) was dark and quite dirty. I wiped it four times, and the tissue paper was still black. There was no power outlet at the head of the bed. If you're addicted to your phone, I recommend bringing an extension cord.
**Overall**
It was okay. If you're not too concerned about cleanliness, I recommend staying here. The atmosphere is nice and quiet.
