Avoid if you want a peaceful rest.

Stayed here as a backup for a local marathon since my usual spot was full. The location near the KKU community is convenient and the lake view is a nice touch, but that’s where the positives end.
Pros: Clean rooms, no musty odor despite the age.
Cons: The hotel is extremely dated and completely undecorated—it feels very "bare bones" and stuck in the past. The biggest issue, though, is the noise. Soundproofing is non-existent; you’ll hear every door slam and footstep in the halls. To make matters worse, stray dogs were barking and howling outside all night long. What was supposed to be a restful night turned into no sleep at all.
Additionally, the parking lot is tiny and unpaved (loose gravel), and basic amenities are lacking—you even have to trek down to reception just to borrow a hairdryer.
If you actually need to rest before a race, look elsewhere. I definitely won't be returning.

I enjoyed my stay at Anchan Laguna! I had a twin room and thought the price was very reasonable. The location is far from the main part of town but it’s tucked away in its own lovely little corner of the world. I especially appreciate the help from the receptionist, Give, who helped me get a taxi to the bus station late at night. Overall, nice place; would stay again!

After a long night's rest, the room was tidy and I couldn't ask for too much. It's always convenient to take a break while on the road, and the breakfast is more acceptable than I thought. A quickie night.

Some people walk outside the room. When the room next door closes, you can hear everything. There is a key card deposit. I feel that the room is not very clean. When I sleep, I get an itchy rash.
