V Wish Hotel in Khon Kaen

The staff spoke without using polite language and their tone was quite harsh. I believe they should be trained in proper customer service manners. Also, the air conditioning in the room on the 5th floor wasn’t working well. I was told that there’s no hair dryer available on that floor and was asked to pay a 300-baht deposit — I’m wondering why that is. Is there a particular reason for this treatment on the 5th floor?

On the morning of Sunday, October 27, at approximately 9:15 a.m., while laying in my bed, a male employee unlocked my bedroom door and attempted to come into my room. The employee did not knock on my door and did not announce that he was with housekeeping staff; I have no idea why this employee attempted to enter my room. The only reason this employee was unable to enter my room was because I had the interior metal slide locking the door engaged.

Other than this incident, there were also inconsistencies trying to set up the wifi. The password on the keycard is incorrect, and I had a very difficult time trying to figure out which network to connect to. At best, the wifi situation is a guessing game. In the room, there is a notice of network and password for wifi, but all that information is incorrect, as well.

I went to the front desk to discuss the issues connecting to wifi, and she said the first letter (for password) is not capitalized as it was printed on the keycard. Why make me come back to you, and why not tell me the correction at check-in?

Aside from my concerns, the air conditioning unit in my room works very well and can be operated without a key card. There is no remote control for AC, but it is simple enough to operate on the wall.

In the room, lighting could be improved. However, you can obtain more lighting if you open the window between living area and bathroom where the bidet is built into the toilet seat (lever action).

More cons: Some areas of the room needing repair have not been addressed for years and I found scrpas of wallpaper in the closet. Your desk space is directly in front of TV and poor placement of bedside tables (too far to reach from the bed).
