A very convenient hotel, near everything you need while staying here. While it is showing signs of age, including cracks in the walls and upper floor it will be fine for cheap place to stay while visiting the city. Fantastic views of the sea right next to the pier. There's a park with a children's playground and exercise area close by.
From here you can travel to the Army base and go to the beach called Ao Manao fornthe best beach in the area.

The hotel is close to the Saphan Daeng tourist attractions and can find things to eat, close to the government center, can walk to Khao Krachok, can walk out to rent a bicycle to cycle around the city. The location is very good. As for the rooms, you can get a room. Staying with a fan and looking at the sea view from the living room is really awesome for the room. When I thought the fan room would be bad, it turned out to be a fan room and B sat and drank beer and looked at the view, very chill.

The area around the hotel and the bathroom is very dirty. The toilet bowl is stained. The sink was damaged and the tiles fell off. The floor including the fan was dirty. The mattress is hard and the blanket is quite thin. There are only two power outlets.

I enjoyed my stay at Mont Talay. It is in a great location with a clear view of beach and sea. It is walkable everywhere in Prachuap. The room is basic but it is a great price & has adequate provisions for a short stay. Could do with some refreshing & renovations. Overall, I would recommend if you want a cheap place to stay in an ideal location & don't have high expectations of room amenities.

It is right on the seafront, all rooms have a seaview. The room was fine, clean with a fan and only cold water (390B one person, cheaper using Traveloka). It is very untidy at the foot of the staircase, with tools, ladders and defunct electrical equipment. Communication using Google translate

A little rustic and not for everyone, but it has the best view in town. Great seawall walk right outside the door, stretches for miles.

The room is ok with the affordable price. The best things is you can have a stunning view of prachuap beach from your room (3rd floor or above).Moreover just 5 min walk to the local market where you can find a bunch of cheap breakfast.
