Village Square 241/243: Have been skiing at Copper Mountain for 30+ years. Love the skiing, but their lodging department is terrible! We reserved a one bedroom condo configuration through Copper Mountain Resorts. They accidentally unlocked 245 from the inside instead of 241 - both hotel style bedrooms. When they figured out the mistake they came locked 245 but no one anywhere apparently had a key that would open 241 so they said we would have to access the bedroom through the building hallway rather than from inside the unit - so much for a one bedroom condo. We dealt with a rude, snippy supervisor, who was apparently powerless to authorize any solutions, or simply did not want to help us – even though there was a viable and reasonable solution, which was to reopen 245 as no one had reserved it for the night. No recompense, no apologies, no remorse. The unit itself was meh.

Would love to give NO stars. vacasa as a property management group is a joke! I wasn't looking for fancy but it was 3rd world with no internet, only way to communicate was by calling out - and they don't call back. vacaca couldn't even provide a parking pass even though your car will be towed from the garage. Do yourself a favor and stay far, far away from any vacaca-managed property - you'll fight for a refund while dealing with people who don't really care at all.

The units are ok but they’re not amazing. I’ll never rent here again because of Vacasa. What a terrible company. They send you five emails per day from the time you book until the time you arrive….

The real fun starts when you arrive and realize that none of those emails include coherent parking instructions (we had to surf the garage door to get in), or the ROOM number.

Just endless emails full of blah blah blah. I can only assume they have some type of fetish that involves being screamed at by irate customers.

All the bogus parts of a bad hotel - small, cramped rooms, awful beds, crowded and noisy - with no housekeeping or room phone to boot. The worst part was we were on the sixth floor and the elevator was broken the whole 5-day stay. No discount offered, and they wouldn't move us. The staff was decent but didn't seem to care about these issues. Parking was okay and there's sufficient proximity to the mountain. But do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere.

Am empty, barren hotel without any virtues other than convenience and free parking in town. Badly in need of renovations, the beds need to be replaced. There are only a few electric outlets and the hot/cold temperature in the shower was erratic. There is no pool only a lukewarm "hot tun". The internet was acceptable but not particularly fast, A higher room would offer views - shoot for 4th floor or higher. The coffee in the room was it's saving grace...it was decent coffee.

Location is nice, close to lifts and restaurants, everything smells like cigarettes.

No staff in the building, their parking lot is too small to accommodate all guests. We have also been told that the hotel is not responsible for parking which is ridiculous, given how much they charge ($600/night). Also, you have to leave the parking lot before 10 am (apparently a new rule that they made up the day we arrived) which defeats the purpose of staying overnight to enjoy some early runs in the morning and avoid shuttles. The rooms are extremely old and worn down, dusty and smell bad. 0 service, disappointed.
