Everyone should try crabbing off the docks here! It's so much fun, and super delicious to cook up! :)

Love the place, staff is great... For one exception,Josh the general manager.... Is very lazy and rude, asked to turn on the heat in cabana. And the crab steamer pot,was very rude about it asking if i was gonna use them.. then on my last day,was sitting in the cabana. Drinking a beer, Josh comes in and tells me no alcohol is allowed in the park. When the day before he saw me having one and said nothing... He then proceeded to tell me it's Oregon state law... I looked it up,and told him no it wasn't.... Then he proceeded to say it's my rule, this is a family park. I explained to him it says nothing about in your park rules. And that he needs to have this posted on the cabana and website.... Josh response was I don't have to do nothing, and I can tell you to leave..... I called reservation line to complain, they said they will call me back... I walked back into the cabana where I over Heard their, conversation and Josh told the person on the line. I don't care if he had it in a,red cup as long as I don't see it.... This doesn't make sense, people come to relax at resorts... And have a drink, spoke with long term residents... And was told people drink in there all the time. So at this point this gen manager, singled me out to just harass me... I'm a disabled vet,and had to up my medicine.... Because of him,not sure how the owners feel about this.... But if retaliated or harassed again by this GM. I will seeking legal counsel. And doesn't fix leaking water everywhere

So beautiful here! The waterway with the hills and trees in the background is amazing! Wow! BE CAREFUL COMING INTO THE PARK, ENTRY IS VERY STEAP WITH DEEP POT HOLES. We had to go very slow with our A Class towing our Jeep. Staff is friendly and easy to deal with and views are wonderful!

It rained the entire time I was here, and I still loved every minute. I was at a perfect site, right on the pier. They have a lodge with nice facilities, friendly staff and unbelievable views. I will definitely be returning, hopefully on a sunny day. It did clear up on the day I left. The natural beauty is astounding!

25 years ago when this park was strictly a membership park, it was very well maintained. Members were able to get a site with no trouble with just a phone call except for major holidays. Since then, it has gone way downhill. Now, the park is open to everyone including long term residents. Before a member could only stay for a maximum of 14 days. I visited there as a member but was only able to stay for 9 days because I had to leave to free up the spot for someone else. I saw that about 75% of the people there were long term residents and that the majority of the lower waterfront sites were long term residents.
I’ve been paying my yearly dues for the last 25 years so I have some $$ invested in this place. I have to wonder where the money goes. The pools and hot tub have not been in operation the past few times I was there. The vegetation was overgrown, electrical boxes in a state of disrepair as were the docks and boat ramp, and the list goes on. And if you look hard enough, you will find squatters camping on property owned by this “resort” back in the woods and out of sight. I routinely saw people going through dumpsters collecting pop cans and whatever else they wanted.
I may stay here again if the need arises (it does have access to crabbing and fishing on the bay via the boat launch) but I don’t expect much more than what I have described above. It’s sad because this used to be a beautiful resort.
