The Duffy House - Oregon Beach Vacations

Welcome to The Duffy House, located within steps of the... Seaside boardwalk! This gorgeous two story home offers guests four bedrooms and three bathrooms. You and your group of seven will be able to enjoy close beach access while relaxing in style and comfort at this newly remodeled home featuring brand new paint, flooring, furnishings, and appliances! Park your car in the driveway, grab your bags, and head inside your new favorite home away from home!

The front porch is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the salty breeze from the Pacific as it drifts down the street! Grab your favorite drink, and settle down with a novel on the outdoor furniture. Upon entering The Duffy House, you'll find yourself in the living room, complete with a large L shaped couch in a gorgeous dark gray and a coffee table. You'll also have access to a large flat screen TV with cable and a DVD player. Wi-Fi is also available while staying at this location.

Head over to the kitchen, complete with brand new appliances and a stainless steel sink, dishwasher, refrigerator, and gas range! You'll also have a toaster, coffee maker, and microwave, along with plenty of utensils and cookware for your group. You'll be able to whip up a feast or a simple meal. The dining room table seats will seat all eight of your guests. The primary bedroom is also on this floor offering a king size bed. The first bathroom, complete with a walk-in shower, is located just off of the primary. A second bathroom on this floor contains a shower/tub combo. There is also a washer and dryer located on the first floor of The Duffy House, so feel free to pack light for your stay, and wash clothes as needed during your visit.

Head upstairs to find the remaining three bedrooms and bathroom. Two of these bedrooms contain queen size beds. Back downstairs to the backyard, you'll find a back porch with more outdoor seating, a BBQ, and a small backyard to hang out in after a long day on the boardwalk and walking the beach!

While staying at The Duffy House, you'll have plenty to see and do while staying in the Seaside area. You'll be within close walking distance of the boardwalk, just 50 steps to the west! Head south on the boardwalk, and within 5-10 minutes, you'll find yourself in the center of town featuring an arcade, plenty of unique shops and restaurants, and the beach! This oceanfront home is one of the best on the Oregon Coast. Steps to the famous Seaside Promenade... yet has the privacy one wants. Step directly onto the Oregon Coast from your deck.
The main floor has large oceanfront living room, large open Kitchen and eating Nook, large Family room with Dining area, Oceanfront master bedroom with king bed and private bath, 2nd bedroom has a queen bed, 3rd bedroom has 1 Queen bed and 1 set of bunks. 2nd full bath off the hall. 4 the bedroom is a small windowless with Queen bed, also there is a Queen bed in lower family room and full bath with tub/shower

Upon entering the home, you'll find yourself in a split living room, one area featuring a TV with loveseat and two armchairs, the other with a large couch and two armchairs. Both areas are perfect for relaxing in after a long drive. The second area even has a beautiful bookcase filled with cute knick knacks and a few books for you to look through during your stay. The owners have also provided guests with boardgames, Wi-Fi, and satellite TV, along with DVD/Blu Ray players and streaming entertainment! Rain or shine, you and your family will have plenty to do at Jim's House!

Head down the hallway to find a kitchen with everything you'll need to whip up a quick and easy meal. You'll have access to a microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, oven/stovetop, and refrigerator, along with plenty of silverware and dishes for you and your family. The dining room table sits opposite the kitchen and has seating for up to four. There are also six barstools, so feel free to pull them up to the table or gather around at the kitchen island for dinner. The first bedroom, containing a queen bed and a lounge chair, is also on this floor. There is also a bathroom with a shower/tub combo.

From here, feel free to go either upstairs to find two additional bedrooms, or downstairs, where you can find a family den and small kitchenette. Both bedrooms upstairs each offer a queen bed, while one bedroom also has a small twin daybed. This room is perfect for a couple with a small child. There is a half bath located on this floor for both rooms to share.

Head downstairs to the basement, and you'll find a cute den, complete with a queen futon, a large flat screen TV, a small table for four, an armchair, a small kitchenette, a foosball table, and a washer and dryer for guest use. This area is perfect for the kiddos in your party to hang out in. They'll feel like they're in their own special space! There is also a bathroom with a large shower on this floor for your convenience. Feel free to wash the sand off from your beach explorations before heading back upstairs!

Outside, you'll find a large, gravel backyard at this home, perfect for your children to play in on a warm day! You'll also have access to a propane BBQ and outdoor furniture, so pack the ribs and chicken for a grill night!

While staying in the Seaside area, you'll have plenty to see and do. Take a quick walk down to the beach and boardwalk, and explore the many exciting shops and restaurants offered, or take a stroll into the Seaside Aquarium where you can feed the Sea Lions and check out the starfish.
