Hotel availability is scarce in Abilene with extensive data center construction in town. Super 8 was one a handful of hotels available. I wish I hadn't booked it. I don't know where they got the stock pictures of the hotel, but they look nothing like the current condition. The carpeting was disgusting with stains everywhere, some of which were tacky. I refused to take off my shoes. The bathroom toilet valve was broken and leaked constantly. The furniture was damaged often with holes, obviously taken from another hotel that was demolished or refurbished. The only available electrical outlet was hanging from the wall with live wires exposed. The whole room looked like some horrible crime scene. The front desk refused to address any of the issues. They actually lock the office at night with a phone number taped to the door. Avoid this place at all cost.

I used a chair to help make sure my door stayed shut because it looks as if the door had been broken into before, metal frame of bed was very loud, the shower was very nasty, walls super thin, breakfast wasnt even sub par, i was one of the frirst one down tinnthe morning and all yhe creamers for coffee qas empty, no butter for the waffels.

Room 112 - smells like chemical, dirty/disty, missing bathroom doorknob, missing toilet dispenser, moldy bathroom/curtains, missing rectangular parts of the hangers, tv doesn't have options to view different channels, uncomfortable bed and pillows

Don't stop in this city if the health department lets hotels operate in this condition. This building may fall in on itself any time now. Great parking!

I would say that the hotel was.way over priced but as i found out all of the hotels in thatbarea and so high because of the heavy construction of data centers and other things in the area. Unfortunately most hotels are not using the extra revenue to better or improve the locations to be worth the prices.

There was blood on the box spring of one of the beds. There were waterbugs and cockroaches throught the room and bathroom. The heat/AC unit had no outer covering and the internal mechanisms were exposed, dirty and rusted. 0/10 worst experience of any accommodation I've EVER been to.

Rooms where definitely neglected. Bed sheets had cigarette burn holes. Floors had carpet not covering the base flooring. Restroom floor was sunk in front of the toilet with sharp broken tile. The doors threshold had an inch gap feeling allowing dust to come in. Plaster was peeling from the ceiling. Tv was not hung just leaning against the wall. Wall had scratches. Would not stay there again. Needs to be taken off your ******* list

Room was extremely dirty, no hot water, urine left on toilet. Asked for a room change and 4 rooms later was the same exact story in Every room.
