This has got to be the best stay in Lubbock. Dawn and David are welcoming hosts. It's small place, well located, and the home-cooked breakfast tops it off. We stayed in the 1950s room which was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony overlooking the pool and using the hot tub. There is a bit of traffic noise, but we found it not too obtrusive.

The was exactly the experience I had hoped. The caboose was well equipped with an efficient heating system for a 27 degree night. The interior was immaculately clean with one of the most comfortable queen beds I’ve ever slept on. I was also impressed with the quality of the bedding. The sheets were soft and extra blankets and pillows were provided. It has a nice sized compact refrigerator, microwave, and R/0 water in the kitchen area. Snacks and drinks were provided. Then a delicious homemade breakfast with pleasant company. The hosts made me feel welcomed from the second they opened the front door of the main house. Even the parking was secure. It was the perfect get-away. I will be heartbroken if they don’t have a vacancy and I have to resort to a hotel the next time I am in Lubbock.

We spent 2 nights in the Caboose. It was awesome!!! There is a portion that is like a sitting room, with a couch and a small table with 2 chairs. This is the room with the sink, small refrigerator, and a microwave. The middle portion is where the tall bit of the caboose is and the Engineer(s) sit. It provides some storage places, and just past that is the toilet/sink area on one side and the shower on the other side. The next portion is the bedroom, which is quite small, but who needs more than a bed? The bed was comfortable and the whole caboose was clean and tidy. The main house was beautifully decorated for Christmas, and the dining room was also decorated with a snow theme. Breakfast was freshly cooked and quite delicious. My husband had thrown his back out and couldn't get out of bed while we were there. They were very accommodating; they put together a tray for me to take to him both mornings. The location, across the street from Tech, was very convenient. We enjoyed our stay and now I get to say I've slept in a caboose!

Thanksgiving holiday was wee spent at The Woodrow House B & B in Lubbock! It was my 4 th stay and my Mom’s third. The president’s room is easy access for disability. Dawn and David are so enjoyable and Becky is a delight!

Fantastic hospitality, breakfast and rooms. We stayed in the caboose just to try something different. It was really cool. A friend stayed in one of the rooms in the house and it appeared perfect and comfortable. We will definitely be back!

PERFECT place to stay while visiting your college kid. Breakfast is fantastic. Hospitality is wonderful. Rooms are clean and comfortable. We tried the caboose for something different and it was really cool. I did peak in one of the rooms in the house and it appeared clean and comfortable.

We stayed 2 nights in the caboose, and loved it! I absolutely love trains, so getting to sleep in a caboose was such fun and very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, the staff super friendly and the hosts were amazing! We enjoyed swimming in the pool too. Definitely recommend and we are looking forward to another stay!

Exceptional stay. This is my 'always stay at while in Lubbock' from now on. Highly recommended. Wonderful room and amenities, great breakfast, loved the pool. Would have liked to stay longer - which I will do next time.

This was the first time I have stayed at a Bed & Breakfast so I wasn't sure what to expect. But after my stay at Woodrow House, I will never want to stay at a hotel in Lubbock again. It was so GREAT! From the greeting at the front door, to the uniquely decorated rooms, to the comfortable beds, to the beautiful swimming pool and hot tub, and delicious breakfast, I couldn't have asked for more. But they had more. They had a chess board and puzzle out. There was a guestbook in the room that was very interesting to read from previous guest. And it was wonderful to visit with Jay and the other guests. I will definately be returning and I highly recommend Woodrow house. Book a room, You will love it!

Absolutely the best experience in the caboose! Comfortable. Clean. Fun. The main house is beautiful and the family is friendly. No one is in your space but you are welcome to enjoy a puzzle , game , or tv in the main living space. Meals are good. They are so willing to accommodate any need you have…just ask.
