Buuzara Guest House in Kokand

It's a bit far from the town center, but there are buses running on the north-south road that passes the airport (like the 101). They also offer pick-up from the airport and bus stops. The hostel family is very kind and attentive. Even though it was still cold, there was a small heater, making it comfortable!

I would definitely like to stay there again if I ever go to Batken.

This is a lovely guesthouse, roughly a 30-minute walk from the city centre or 5 minutes by taxi. The rooms are located within a detached house and has everything you need for a comfortable stay: hot water, shower, washing machine, kettle, table and stools in the room, and even a small table-top stove for cooking near the main entrance. The well-maintained toilet is a traditional outhouse at the back of the garden. There are two supermarkets a few minute’s walk with all the basic essentials and much more.

If you want a good view of the local area, look for the hill nearest to the guesthouse, in the direction of the airport. It offers a 360-degree view of the area. Great!

Lastly, there is a lovely breakfast too. Porridge, eggs, bread/honey, and coffee/tea.

I hope to return to Batken again and I will definitely stay here the next time.
