This was the best hotel in the area, it has everything that a 5 star hotel needs but the quality isnt great. However I still give this full points because it is not in a major city, and also very cheap

A little disappointed with the service of the staff from the rumba resturant . We came for an early dinner , but the staff there literally make us wait at least 15 minutes on the table until we call them to take our orders . But I would like to compliment a staff name ( THUY ) . She serve us with a great smile and politely answering to all our requests.

The staff are exceptionally kind and work hard throughout the resort. The property is very well maintained, although it feels a bit dated and has an antique vibe.

I feel like this is a resort with a rich history, great sea views, and decent massage. If the rooms and facilities can be renovated, I think it will be very attractive and people will choose to stay here again and again!

Tthe location of course is excellent and the walking trails/bike paths are numerous and well maintained. Truely a wonderful Resort to spend time at.

Stayed at this hotel on my way back from Phong Nha. The room and service was fantastic. Loc at the front desk really went out of his way to make a great experience including helping arrange laundry after hours so I could be ready for my early morning departure and helping us with a ride while grab taxi system was down! Would definitely stay again

Great experience staying here for 3 days. The buffet is great, though it's low-key boring after around 4 cycles of continuous eating. The air conditioner takes a pretty long time to cool the room, but just turn it on and leave it for a trip; then returning should fix the problem. TL;DR: There's a great beachside seafood restaurant on the opposite side of the street! Better try it out.

Even though the hotel rated 5 stars but I don’t think the experience was worth it. The room and staff service were great but the pool was really a disappointment. There is free breakfast but the food is not versatile and kind of boring. Overall, still a good place to stay if only you’re outgoing and travel outside the hotel a lot. One thing I like best is the beach view and that is all.

The pool was actually at a neighboring affiliated hotel. There were also very few deck chairs, which made it difficult to use.

The service was very good. It was interesting that the breakfast was a bit more plentiful when it was busy and less when it was less crowded.

For the price, I'd say it's quite satisfactory. I stayed here to visit Phong Nha Cave and Paradise Cave. The bathroom wasn't dirty, but not sparkling clean either, just somewhere in between. When I checked in, there was an insect in the room that kept me awake, and when I drained the tub, the plug was loose, so the water didn't go down properly. The staff, however, were wonderful.

Muong Thanh Hotel holds a special place in my heart. They are well-organized and provide excellent service. The building is old and the facilities are a bit worn, but the service is excellent. The neighborhood is quiet, and the proximity to the beach always gives a refreshing feeling. I'm lucky to have found a hotel like this while living in Vietnam. I'm so grateful to all the hotel staff. It was cold in the room, I covered myself with a blanket. I had to turn the boiler up to maximum to heat the water faster. But I liked the high ceilings, like in St. Petersburg, right in the old building. There is a canal next to the hotel, along which there are a bunch of eateries for every taste, this is pleasing

Not a bad budget hotel, with a great location. There is a 24-hour minimarket near the hotel. Motorcycle rental is 10 minutes away, good service. Cons: dampness in the room and not very good smell of drains in the bathroom.

I loved my 5 night stay here, the owners were great, very helpful, friendly, great breakfast and a brilliant location away from the traffic noise. Easy walk to find meals, friendly locals and easy to rent a scooter to travel around. I loved it, just what I needed and I'll be back.

Good place to live in Quang Binh on holiday with family or friend

It's fairly nice and you can take a nice stroll along the river from here but most importantly it was really comfortable which is all we needed after a long day of travelling.

Great hotel but it's getting a little worse. Swimming pool and gym closed, we weren't aware of this when booking and it wasn't mentioned at checkin. Breakfast ok, nothing extraordinary.

Overall it's pretty good. The hotel is located in the city center and the transportation is relatively developed. The hotel room is relatively large and the air conditioning effect is relatively good. But there was no food or drink in the refrigerator in the hotel room.

It was clean to a certain extent. The only thing separating the shower and toilet was a curtain, so the toilet would get flooded when I got in the shower. The staff were also very kind.

It's okay for locals. No facility for foreigners. Specially food and language. Very very difficult to communicate and eat these foods. Rooms are not clean, toilet also not good. But manageable for one or two days.
