Hida Residence Himara in Himare

Disastrous!!!!!
We went to this restaurant for breakfast and decided to spend the day at the nearby beach. After a few hours, we returned to the restaurant for lunch. We were 4 people and had with us a 10-month-old baby. We placed a full order and, in the end, simply asked for one boiled egg for the baby.

The waiters, very politely, told us they couldn’t prepare it because it would “waste time from other, more important and expensive orders.” They directed us to the lady of the hotel who, despite being pregnant herself, categorically refused to include a boiled egg in our order. Her attitude was arrogant, full of indifference, not only toward us but also toward her own staff, who seemed forced to work under pressure.

As a result, we were forced to leave with a 10-month-old baby in our arms, under the scorching heat, completely disregarded and deeply disappointed by this place.

I sincerely hope karma doesn’t delay when this lady becomes a mother herself, because the behavior shown toward a child was inexcusable.

Maybe her hormones were high, but that does not justify her unacceptable behavior toward the staff. I truly feel sorry for the employees who had to endure her shouting and arrogance. If tourism in Albania is not moving forward, the reason lies exactly in people like her, who with their attitude destroy every effort for quality service. Moreover, it wasn’t even a proper restaurant – more like a shack – but they happened to have clients for lunch, simply because the good restaurants were closed in mid-September.
