We had an amazing stay at Oceans. The view from our room was outstanding , it overlooking the beach and the esplanade which was always a hive of activity, with shops and restaurants directly below. The terrace was huge and undercover which was a bonus in the very hot weather. The apartment was 2 bedrooms and the living area was huge. very clean and spacious , we had the ground floor with our own spa which was right next to the sitting area to the public pool, also people from the pool area could see straight into our apartment so we had to have the curtains closed 90% of the time, great location and very nice staff

Really nice hotel with modern room and furniture. Sensational location. Good pool and spa. Only thing we didn't like was the lack of staff and communication. Front desk wasn't manned and phones rang out. It was New Year's Eve/Day but they need to be better staffed. In saying that we would definitely book again. Would still stay again ,

This place seems to have stucked in 80’s . Whilst some upgrades are currently happening I feel that won’t be enough to make the place look and feel nice.

Cleaning staff were great, office staff not so much. Had no wifi from 5.00 pm Xmas day until 10.30 Boxing Day and no help from staff. The TV only works with Wifi Great position of the Unit, but seriously needs an upgrade inside for the price

Old and tired. Needs renovation. Couch was incredibly uncomfortable. Entry way rusty and paint peeling. Bathroom was good size with laundry, but dryer took forever to dry anything.

Our apartment had everything we needed for a carefree stay. Walking distance to the many cafes for meals. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay there again.

Great location with ocean views. The decor of the room was lovely. A little disappointed with the lack of small details considering the price point, for example the in-shower conditioner and body wash ran out on the first night, no complimentary room servicing / fresh towels (we stayed three nights), and the TV was quite old (could only watch a movie on DVD but who even has those these days?).

Family of 4 stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment with large courtyard/balcony that had a bbq and jacuzzi (not hot) overlooking the ocean. The apartment was modern and spacious with a Hamptons/beach theme. Lots of amenities included. Hand wash, shampoo, lotion etc was provided and toilet paper/tissues to start you off. Wi-fi wasn’t very good, so recommend that you bring your own. Having been going to Zanzibar for over the 20 years. Live this place. Location amazing. Hotel refreshed very well. Sadly this time just a coupke of things. Would have been nice to know about the construction on the beachfront. The noise at times was terrible. The other inconvenience was the internet service. Wifi was non existent. Meaning no streaming television either. Difficult to get some...

Great rooms but 1st floor view obstructed by trees - just glimpses of beach and water

We originally checked into an apartment with a lovely view but the pervasive smell of mould, particularly in the back bedrooms. After bringing this to the attention of the receptionist/management, we were moved to another apartment for the rest of our stay. This made the world of difference to our experience. A wet but pleasant week. Of course you never know what the weather will be like, we got rain every day and grey skies and grey seas. So the view was a bit dismal, but with cafes and shops just downstairs , we could still enjoy some holiday vibes without getting too wet. The warm spa is a must or wet weeks.

Staff were absolutely incredible and the location fantastic. The place was so clean and pool was a lot of fun. Only downside there was only one air conditioner and one of the rooms was always so hot as the air con did not reach it.

The staff were exceptional, the room was clean and spacious, and parking was convenient. The kitchen was fine, but we did have to buy a decent frying pan and knife as the ones provided were not great. The bed could have been more comfortable, but it was acceptable. The best thing about the hotel was the excellent location one block off the promenade and a few blocks down from the surf club.

The park for the car was really unsatisfactory. A huge cupboard in front made it difficult to park

The room is dirty, but the location is very close to the beach, but there is no view from the room. The equipment is very old and there is a bad smell. I will not come again. I feel disappointed, but the service staff is very good and nice.

The hotel is almost like no front desk, self check-in. The hotel called in advance to communicate. It is a townhouse. The swimming pool is not big, so I didn't go.

The highlight of my trip! The room was very modern and kept in pristine condition. I was also blown away by the stunning view from my window. It was so relaxing to just sit and look out at the city. Thank you for such a memorable experience!

The unit was very comfortable. One air conditioner not working in family room, this would have been nice to have been communicated. Overall the air conditioners in the bee rooms helped cool down the unit.

I love staying at the Beachcomber. The beach is basically at your front door as is the boardwalk which will take you straight into town for shopping and restaurants without having to get in your car. Our eight days away was awesome and we thank our most welcoming and caring hosts Ri and Ed. Spacious area location location location pool all facilities were great and the gardens were well kept for which shows that they really care for everyone. Lovely accommodation, very clean and well managed. Good size apts in very close proximity to the beautiful Mooloolaba beach. Swimming pool is also great and safe for the kids. Thank you for a lovely stay and hopefully see you again when we are next over!
