Staff were fantastic, I had to be in hospital the next day at midday and needed a late checkout and wasn't a problem at all. I found the lady on reception exceptional! I accidentally left something behind and she offered to send it to me for free even after offering to pay! Rooms were clean, even had Netflix! Would definitely stay again 🥰

I have just stayed at this motel in Toowoomba for 5 nights (I am buying unit in Toowoomba move in on 17th April). After hundreds of hotels and motel stays over my life this experience was one of the least impressive and I breathed a sigh of relief when I left this am. Although I could get quite emotional and angry at the misrepresentation on their website that contributed toward me choosing this motel, I am going to try and keep it factual in the hope of benefiting future travellers.
1 NO AIRCONDITIONING
the website states that all rooms are airconditioned. My aircon didn't work at all because the refrigerant ran out a long time ago (if you scroll back through the reviews for this motel you will find people complained about aircon not working a year ago. Also while there I spoke to one other person who's aircon also did not cool.
2 UPGRADED FREE HIGH SPEED WIFI
I have worked in business as a web developer for 24 years. HIGH SPEED wifi in a motel is considered to be between 25-100 MBS The motel before this one was running at 75MPS. The motel I am now in (after the Leichardt experience) is running at around 93MPS. The highest speed I could get at The Leichardt (6am Sunday, hardly anyone using the net there was 8 MPS. My little Telstra back up modem got 4 times that at The Leichardt: 30+ MPS
3 BOOK DIRECT AND SAVE meaning book at the Leichardt Motor Inn website and save. I booked directly at The Leichardt website and was charged10-15.00 a night MORE than if I had phoned the motel or driven past the motel and seen the sign "todays rate $115.00/night.
Those just 3 facts show the website is misleading and if I had known the truth (particularly no aircon) I would not have stayed. Also the website is way out of date. It states Vietnamese is spoken when the Vietnamese owner sold it to a Chinese owner about 7 months ago. There are several other things that made my experience less than pleasant, eg although it states the rooms have recently been refurbished, the showers (at least in my room) have not and being so old are not clean (not the fault of the cleaning staff)
Buyer Beware.

Tried my luck to approach the front desk for temp storage pf frozen food I bought last night at 1030 hrs much earlier then check-in time (1300 hrs). Beyond expectations, the manager allowed early check-in. We were so happy and the offer and flexibilty was much appreciated.
Everything were well maintained. The staff were active, efficint and friendly.
My room on G/F was just next to the pool.... it was bustling with noise and excitement when kids were having they jolly time. The bed was big and of moderate hardness. The quilt was a bit roughy. The toilet therein was small but clean and well ventilated.
A very enjoyable stay. Will come again

Very clean place, convenient location. My family stayed in the family room. All the beds are comfortable and clean. Handy kitchen area is a bonus for the whole stay. Staffs are helpful and friendly. Definitely will stay again.

Super friendly staff, saved me from stress when my other booked accomm cancelled on me because my cc declined prior to checkin...did not realise I had to have my funds in there 24 hours beforehand!. She gave me a bigger room as that was all that was available, but for the same price as the standard room...thankyou so much!. Was clean and tidy, and roomy, had everything I needed. Easy quick drive straight into the center of town, which was great for my meeting. But mostly thankyou for being so pleasant and helpful. A huge contrast to the other place.
