The room was very nice with the view of the golf courae . The staff was very courteous and welcoming . Great location. The bathrooms could have ne cleaner, there was mold in the bathroom.

But overall, great place, good service and excellent location.

We booked an Executive King room, which is shown on their web site as having a couch but our room only had some outdoor hard plastic chairs. One of the main lights didn't work and the TV remote only worked intermittently. We advised the front desk on departure but they didn't seem interested.

Competed in the annual Queensland Senior Order of Merit (QSOOM) golf tournament held at City Golf Club, , Warwick and Middle Ridge aka the Toowoomba swing. For golfers over 55. Excellent place to stay during this 3-day event.

The room looked nothing like any of the promotional photos. There were only two pillows on the king sized bed, no extras anywhere, no decorative pillows. Only one bedside lamp. Slept well, bed was comfortable and did not notice noise outside. No stand for luggage. The bathroom was aged and grotty. The mirror behind the door had also sorts of lovely markings on it and just needed to be cleaned properly. Sink cracked, tapware corroding and white residue on glass. The back of the door to the room clearly had something fastened to it previously and all the sticking tape was still there, just looking grotty. Curtain hanging off the railing. Felt like there really wasn't any effort made. I was the one to initiate enquiries when checking in with no information forthcoming as to facilities, anything about the golf club, if there was anything that connected the two, or if any events were on. Instructions were provided as to parking. I did hear the reception staff member telling the previous guests checking in that an uber was available to go to the golf club which was part of the motel's service. This was recommended as previous guest/s had been assaulted on the way home. Disappointed and wouldn't recommend.

Great place to stay
Super easy check in and very comfortable rooms. Free self serve parking and close to everything. They offer free Ubers to and from the Golf Club for meals.

On the very rare times that I visit this HJs its the same old story. Staff constantly stand around and actively ignore customers who are waiting to order whilst having inappropriate conversations (loudly) to each other. The food is not great and most of the time comes out cold or with a stale texture. This store was in the news a few years ago because a customer was server a burger with a penis drawn on the burger clam shell. That sums up the staff.

I always enjoy going to hj's, especially Toowoomba South. The staff are friendly, the food is delicious and where else can you feed a family of 5 for considerably less than $30?

It's good to get something on the go. Sitting arrangement is very limited so drive through can be a good option. Otherwise enjoy the deals of HJ and relax

Make sure to check your order before leaving! 9/10 times they have missed items, or there is next to none of the required fillings on the burgers. Or the fillings are ouside of the buns. Onion rings are always cold. The staff are rude when you advise them of missed items. Bitten too many times, now if the family wants HJ's we go across town or not at all.

Could not understand menu
on board ?then a staff member was pulling out rubbish bins while their customer's were eating food and then banging lids on bins and leaving bins without liners when we were going to leave to leave. Left the table clean but had to drag chairs across the floor ( my pet dislike), happy to try again but first time not so good .

I've been going here for about 2 years. It used to be fantastic but lately it's been getting progressively worse. Meals are getting smaller, the enchilada used to fill the container now it's about 1/5 smaller. Out of the last 4 times I've been twice the beans have been hard and stale as well as the nachos.

I used to love guzzies but it's getting to the point where I'm looking for something else. Very disappointing.
