I have stayed in the hotel many times. Whenever I return to see my family, it is always the Glenelg Stamford.

I stayed at Stamford Grand Hotel for two nights and overall had a pleasant stay.
The location is fantastic, and the breakfast was really good with a nice variety of options. I also enjoyed using the sauna and spa on the first day, which was a great way to relax.
Unfortunately, the next day the spa area was flooded, so I couldn’t use the sauna or spa at all. This was quite disappointing, especially as I had been looking forward to using the facilities again during my stay.
One small suggestion regarding breakfast — it would be even better if barista-made coffee was included rather than having to pay extra for it.
Overall, I enjoyed my stay, but I hope the spa facilities are properly maintained so guests can enjoy them throughout their stay.

The hotel is located near the waterfront, offering beautiful sunrise and sunset views. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from nearby, as well as bars and supermarkets, making it an excellent holiday destination.

Very close to the beach, and the staff were really welcoming. I called the front desk for a fork and they brought it up quickly, so the service was great. However, the hotel facilities are a bit old, but it was still clean enough.

The hotel is right on the coast, and is big and beautiful. It has comfortable room and quality breakfast. We enjoyed our stay.

Very happy with the service regarding my order for additional services - eg surprise flowers and a birthday cake. All was very well communicated and the execution was exceptional - was a lovely surprise for my partner. Breakfast was also delicious. Thank you Grand for making our stay truely memorable.

Yummy Spanish tapas food, drinks, cocktails. Staff are friendly but seem to be forever apologising for the wait on service. Not enough staff on to cater for tables booked. Once ordered, food didn't take long to come out and is very tasty and filling.

1 Star is way too many- Ordered a drink waited 25 minutes for it. Ordered mains waited 1 hour only to be asked if we had ordered then was accused of lying that we had not ordered at all. Order a bottle of wine to wait for main waited 20 minutes. Had the the table next to us meals delivered to our table. when they finally told us they would bring out our food one of our orders were sold out- which is was not the hour and a half earlier when we ordered. Staff that served us were rude and NO ONE took responsibility for their service

Ordered a medium rare steak it came out medium well, the salad was missing from the plate as well. Second order was chicken parmigiana and that was a laugh cold cheese sprinkled on the top.
This place is good for families with kids couples save your money and go grab a better steak and Parmi from any pub.

I love hoggies for a good steak and without overdoing it we have been to a few the steak i had here was unbelievably tender the best i have eaten anywhere my wifes steak and entrees were excellent as well staff were all terrific highly recommend

Good variety of food with decent serving sizes and reasonable prices. I enjoy the mocktail options when I am the designated driver. Love the Happy Birthday song from staff when it's someone's Birthday. Really nice night out with family and friends.
