Luxury hotel with professional teams throughout the stay, but the hotel room is seriously dated requiring major upgrading.

Overall, I'm quite satisfied. The room size was decent, and being on a high floor, we got some city views. The bathroom was a bit small, but it had all the necessary facilities. Breakfast quality was also high with a good variety of options. My only minor complaint was a small bug buzzing around the room, so I'd recommend improving pest control.

Great view, decent service and location however I was put in the room next to the lifts and was kept awake/woken up for a large portion of the night until late, and early in the mornings on both nights of my stay. Complained at reception however they weren’t much help nor did they offer a discount on my stay. Very disappointed - otherwise great just make sure they don’t put you next to the noisy elevators

We booked for 3 people but only 2 of everything such as towels, slippers and bathrobe were provided. We had to request the items twice but housekeeping did not arrive with the items. So we had to request it directly at the reception. For a 5 star hotel, we would have expected better service and attention to detail. Gym, pool, spa and sauna were good. Overall, better than average hotel.

The room was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The hotel itself was wonderfully maintained, and the attention to detail really stood out.

I have stayed in the hotel many times. Whenever I return to see my family, it is always the Glenelg Stamford. I like the ocean view and the surrounding Cafe.

This is the best hotel in Adelaide, on par with a Sofitel.

The hotel is a bit old but well-maintained, and the rooms are clean. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The only minor issue is that the hotel lobby entrance is a bit tricky for cars to access.

We booked a 2 bedroom apartment. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Bathroom vanity was a bit small for 3 females doing their make up for a wedding but we managed. I will bring an additional mirror next time. Buffet breakfast was excellent and very convenient. Only a few minutes wall to the mall. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others.

As mentioned before, the location really depends on where you primarily plan to go. If you're mainly exploring the city center, I wouldn't recommend it. However, if you're driving and primarily visiting the Market area, I think it's quite good. The kitchen facilities are excellent, with a large oven and a dishwasher. The electric stovetop has plenty of power.

The location is great, within walking distance to the city center and right next to Chinatown. However, parking at the hotel requires using the adjacent parking lot, which also incurs a fee. This felt a bit inconvenient.

Clean room. Unfortunately no laundry facilities and dish washer would not turn off itself.

Having the restaurant on site was great, we had a delicious dinner and breakfast. The food was great and delivered very quickly! Found the sofa really uncomfortable in the room and strange that the bedroom didn't have a TV. The air-conditioning was exceptional!

Super convenient location with all shopping groceries, different restaurants, cafe, bubble tea shop right under the apartment!  Secured free car parking in front of your room and made it off load the luggage so easy.  Location is next to ADL university, a lot of parks surrounded for morning run/ walk and along the lake is so beautiful!!

The hotel is located near the CBD and it is just 15mins walk to the central market and Chinatown. However, the room sound proofing is not good, we can hear the next room close the door loudly or people talking along the corridor.

I did get a swipe that didn't work for the door but the hotel staff were able to swap to another room. 24 hour service desk was good as I got in late at night and left early morning for a flight. I didn't like that I had to pay an extra $15 to park at the hotel.

The hotel is right next to a multi-way intersection, and the constant revving of engines all night long made it impossible to sleep even with earplugs. The noise was unbearable and severely disrupted my sleep.

The location is great, very close to the bus stop and within the free tram zone, making it super convenient to get to the Botanic Garden, Library, Art Gallery, Museum, and the University of Adelaide directly. It's also within walking distance to the International Convention Centre and the train station.

The hotel is in a great location with convenient transportation, with bus and tram stops nearby for getting to all attractions. You can walk to the city center and Adelaide Railway Station. The staff are courteous and contacted me in advance to arrange my room, and I was able to store my luggage.

I went with my mom for a short trip. I goy contacted by the receptionist the day before to confirm about our arrival time to prepare the room for us, so we came there around 12.30pm and our room was ready even though their usual checkin time is 2pm. The room was spacious and clean. We love the customer service and the location. We will book this hotel when we visit Adelaide again ❤️

The receptionist didn't check who I was and didn't disclose the hotel room number when I told her that my partner has already checked in and I had paid for the hotel room. They don't provide a spare key when 2 adults are staying in 1 room. Stayed for 5 nights during a business trip. The property’s proximity to Adelaide’s central district was highly convenient for meetings, dining, and transportation. Reliable service, clean facilities, and a comfortable environment made for a productive stay.

The hotel's location is excellent, making it easy to get around. The front desk staff were also very helpful. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and it was quiet at night. Everything was absolutely wonderful! The only thing that would make the experience truly perfect is a little extra soundproofing for a more peaceful stay especially during football seasons.

I found the one night stay quite good- very close to M1 and M2, and to shopping centre, convenient in terms of parking, shopping and access to lots of amenities. Loved the service as we arrived in the hotel at 9 pm which was fairly late, however the reception guys were super welcoming us and processed check-in rather well.

A wonderful dining experience from start to finish. The menu has a fantastic selection, the meals were delicious, and the service was attentive without being intrusive. The elegant décor created a lovely atmosphere for our Mother’s Day celebration. Highly recommended.

Just a few steps across a lush green lawn, you can catch a free cable car, which takes only a few minutes to reach the city center. Convenient for a one-night stay, the compact two-bedroom suite design is very practical. For longer stays, it might get quite hot as only the living room has AC, not the bedrooms. However, parking and access are very convenient. It's a good choice for a short 1-2 day stay.
