Very comfortable and spacious cottage accommodation. All very relaxing and staff very friendly. Nice garden and area to sit out. Complimentary port and chocolates are a very nice touch.
WiFi connectivity in cottage was poor.

Perfect room and shared spaces. Old established gardens and trees complete with roses and maze shaped low hedges topped off a great property. Highly recommend.

Very well presented room, spacious with huge bathroom including a bath and some goodies offered.

Only reason not 5 stars is because housekeeping missed areas of dust and a few other things not quite right with the room, ie light switch broken, noisy bathroom fan and one electric blanket control did not work.

Very nice breakfast, but we are not fans of 'en famille' dining.

The sanitary environment is good. At 12 o'clock that night, the fire alarms in the entire hotel rang for more than half an hour and I couldn't sleep.

This $10 vego burger made with lentil veg patty and chips on the side shames The Music Bar's bubble and squeak with chips for $19, criminal! I quite like seeing and obviously eating the desserts on offer that change frequently, I've uploaded a few previously

Children's menu was great value and the staff were super friendly. However steak not cooked to order and they tried to charge for a meal that was not ours.

The fish and chips was average. Chips had too much moisture and starch and became soggy fast. Fish had too much water content and oil, batter on the bottom became soggy really quick.
Coffee is decent.

Reading the reviews above we are wondering where these people ate? Surely not the Pier One restaurant we visited tonight! Dinner booking was made for 8.15 pm, arrived 5 minutes early and placed our orders by 8.20. The table was bare on arrival and remained that way even after the drinks arrived. By 9 pm we beckoned over one of the staff to enquire where our entree was? She didn’t know and asked who served us? Finally entree arrived and some complimentary bread - I had to request cutlery and plates as apparently they are extra - staff member apologised as he had apparently forgotten to place our orders in the system. He said the manager had instructed one meal will be complimentary. Great! We wait. And wait. And wait. Some time after 9.30 he visited us again and asked if we’d received our mains? I wish I’d replied “yes - we were so hungry we ate the plates as well”. Alas our mains never arrived and the kitchen closed. The manager never came near us and we left and visited probably the only restaurant still serving at 10 pm in Hobart - the one with the Golden Arches... thanks for nothing Wrest Point Casino. Will never be back!

We had a wonderful dinner, the staff were very friendly and attentive to all our needs. The food was delicious. A particular staff member named Katie V was excellent in providing us with good service. We particularly liked the way the staff interacted with the people.
