Great location. Great price. Rooms are clean and of good quality. We had a family room in the upstairs section and it was huge. The single beds were in a separate room from the main bed/kitchenette/lounge area.
Main downside: thin walls and floor mean sounds travel easily from outside and other guests. Your sleep will depend on the quality of your neighbours...

Our stay met our needs for being in Ballarat. We enjoyed our previous stay at this accommodation. However, this stay left us unsure, the in-progress repairs were a bit unsightly, such as large unpainted patches on the wall, and a large ceiling patch also in progress. There was no one on-site at 4:30 pm in reception upon check-in, so we rang the phone number on our confirmation and left a message. After a short while someone returned our call with our room number and the door key code. Great, we were able to get into our room. Later that evening at approximately 10:30 pm we were awoken to someone opening our locked door, attempting to come into our room. My husband stopped them telling them the room was already occupied and to ring the hotel to get a different room. The accommodation did not appear to be fully booked, so this incident was concerning and confusing.
We assumed they did as there was no further interruption in our stay. The door did not have a secondary internal lock to ensure our safety. Many things wrong this visit, probably will not use this accommodation again, sad to say.

The room was not too bad. But I specifically booked this motel as on this google page it advertises an indoor pool. I booked a place with a pool due to a 40C+ heatwave.

I asked the staff where the pool was and they seemed totally perplexed, and claimed there is no pool here. I showed them this google page with the "includes indoor heated pool" and they seemed shocked.

I read older reviews now and it looks like they had a pool over a year ago that they suddenly closed and people complaing about the same thing. Booking for a pool and its not here.

So it's been over a year and they are still advertising a pool.

I also had a spa bath in my room that was inoperable. I hadnt booked a room with a spa bath to be fair. But seems like some old bath that no longer functions, but theres no sign saying it doesnt work. So I was excited when I saw it, played around for a long time, it didnt work, and they was disappointed. Maybe a sign saying out of use would be good

Need to give some attention to small details. Couldn't log in to wi fi, towel rails loose, toilet roll holder the same. Air con only worked continually blowing air at the same temperature. But a good place to stay.

Not sure if I was upgraded to a bigger room or if all the rooms where that large. Comfortable bed. Easy as check in, didn't need to speak to anyone, door code was provided via text when room.was ready. Close to shops. Not overly quite, was a band playing close by. Close to good food. Spa bath was a plus. Would definitely stay again due to room size as I was with my 2yr old son.

Awesome place love the space nice large airy room so furniture a bit dated but im not buying the place a d even if I was ,lol I love the little private out door courtyard ,and im sure a few pitter patters of feet aren't going to determine me from staying again ,easy to get Round from here with shops in walking distance a great location and a. No hazel to book in

food was ok,but very annoyed that the toilets are locked and you have to chase a manager to get the keys.....lucky there is other maccas in Ballarat you can ho to where the toilets arent locked and thats where i will be going in future

The Santa they have for the photos is awesome! Great customer service from the regular staff. Can be hard to find a car park.

Ordered a quarter pounder meal and a salad. No dressing afer i asked for it, no pickles in the burger. Chips were soggy with no salt, coke had no ice and they forgot my fork for the salad. Wont be going back

Cleaning could be better. Facilities are quite nice but in my last visit, tables and floor were quite dirty. Food quite the same as any other McDonalds. Small playground area for the kids.
