Was greeted by a friendly front staff member although seemed I interrupted while she was eating her meal, She apologised and said they don’t have a staff room they can use, Pretty Poor for any workplace let a alone a high end hotel to not provide a staff room or seemingly give staff adequate breaks. Wow, what a beautiful accommodation. We booked this hotel as our last minute stay and we were very impressed by the quality and high standards they had. Beautifully renovation! We got to their spa and sauna. Warm and friendly staff at reception and we also ordered some delicious food at dinner. Highly recommend.

Great hotel, rooms are super clean and spacious. Close to town and across from lake for a morning walk. Staff were courteous and efficient.

Very convenient to the art gallery, big room with balcony so we could sleep with the screen insect closed and the door open, rather than use air conditioning. The quality of furniture and bedding was good, some traffic noise which we preferred to using air con. Easy off street parking, for which there was no charge. Would happily base myself here to explore the region.

Clean room Great welcome at reception. I wish the shower were more powerful. I would be great too if, when staying multiple days, the dirty mugs were replaced by clean ones. But for those little details, it wss a great quality stay.

Good location and spacious rooms. Easy acess from Melbourne . Parking very good in front of the room and quiet at night. Staff friendly.

After doing some research of hotels in Shepparton we booked a King room. The photos, comments and high star ratings online are deceptive. The room had a very musty smell, the 2 seater couch was way past its used by date, the wardrobe had no doors, the doors housing the fridge and kettle/toaster didn’t close properly, no pictures on walls. 10 mins from Shepparton city centre. Old classic motel with an older fit out. But very clean and perfect for our stay. Linen was very clean and that's all you can ask. Views of the lake were nice. But note swimming pool not available all year round. Owners were helpful.

It was okay for one night. I got the room because it was cheap. When you entered the property it was run down and needs an update. I went to reception and had to get my own UHT milk out of the fridge, they could've put it in the room prior to my arrival. I was by myself and felt quite isolated out there on the freeway. I booked one night and liked it so much I stayed a second night. Friendly staff, clean, comfortable rooms with fantastic views over the lake. Rooms have a back door to access the pool, bbq, lake and open area. It's peaceful and quiet, only a few minutes from Shepparton. I'll be back! Three years later, I'm finally back. It's still good value, friendly staff. I'm in a different, larger, comfy room....

If this is an overnight stop in the middle of a road trip, it will give you everything you need. - clean room - hot shower - a place to rest your head. I'd say it was lovely in its day, now it needs some serious work. The room was clean but the bed was worn out & the rest was very basic. Gardens would be gorgeous if they actually weeded them & mowed properly. The front reception is an eye sore dirty & messy! I almost drove out , I wish I had read thru the reviews thoroughly.
