It was our third stay at this hotel. We're glad we came back. The owners are very hospitable and always helpful. The meals are delicious and plentiful. The rooms are very clean, cozy, and cleaned every three days. The spa area helped us recover after skiing. The ski slopes are a maximum of 20 km away. We will definitely return to Familienhotel Steind again.

We had a 5-room apartment in the annex, very clean and modernly furnished, with 4 double bedrooms and a large eat-in kitchen, a fully equipped kitchenette, a large dining table, and TVs in all rooms. We booked breakfast in the hotel building, which had everything we needed, and the buffet was constantly replenished. The hosts were a super friendly and always helpful couple. The bed in the hotel room was very comfortable. The corridors were nicely decorated with many beautiful paintings. The kids loved the swimming pool and had a lot of fun. The staff was also very friendly. We had a great holiday there with friends.

This place was extraordinary. It’s an historic property right on the lake. The woman that checked us in was so kind. She even escorted us to our room. Our room was spacious with a lovely balcony with incredible views. The onsite restaurant was amazing. The staff took such great care of us. The food was amazing. Can’t wait to return!

This is an amazing place for Kids and Family. So cozy and comfortable place, and lovely staff! Food is very good, delicious breakfast and dinner, amazing facilities, childcare, ski lessons in the garden of the hotel, beach, playroom, and lots and lots of details designed with families in mind. Trully wonderful- we will be back for sure!

A wonderful experience. It started with the bright welcome and continued every minute of my stay at the hotel. Peter, who is probably the owner of the hotel, makes sure everything is fine at every meeting with him. The hotel is suitable for families with children and is equipped down to the smallest detail. I highly recommend coming and staying here, I will come back here.

Basic hotel , nothing fancy.breakfast is decent. Need to carry suitcases by stairs

I stayed here for 5 nights with my sons, and really enjoyed it. The room was great, with a super view of Millstättersee from the balcony. The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very nice. I wouldn't hesitate to book a stay here again.

Excellent hotel. Excellent hotel, very frequently owners / staff. Plenty of parking and an excellent buffet breakfast. Nice and quiet.

Friendly welcome. Clean and comfortable room. Great selection at breakfast. Safe parking in garage for motorbike.

Near lake. The owner advised where to go and what is nearby. Also these tips were on app on TV in the room.
