It was our third stay at this hotel. We're glad we came back. The owners are very hospitable and always helpful. The meals are delicious and plentiful. The rooms are very clean, cozy, and cleaned every three days. The spa area helped us recover after skiing. The ski slopes are a maximum of 20 km away. We will definitely return to Familienhotel Steind again.

We had a 5-room apartment in the annex, very clean and modernly furnished, with 4 double bedrooms and a large eat-in kitchen, a fully equipped kitchenette, a large dining table, and TVs in all rooms. This is an amazing place for Kids and Family. So cozy and comfortable place, and lovely staff! I stayed here for 5 nights with my sons, and really enjoyed it. The room was great, with a super view of Millstättersee from the balcony. The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very nice. I wouldn't hesitate to book a stay here again.

The rooms are themed and quirky but are quite dated now. They are clean, just dated. The lift broke down and we were on the third floor with suit cases. The location is great as it is right in the middle of things.

Interesting place. Comfortable, but would not likely book again. Ceiling lights in the bathroom had dead bugs, and decorations were eclectic, but ok. Elevator was needing a good paint job as it had lots of scratches and graffiti. Rug in our room was quite ragged and worn. Gave a 3/5 because the staff was very friendly and accommodating.

The rooms are very clean and beds are comfortable. Location is great, breakfast is good. The pool is much smaller than in the pictures and generally crowded with people. Rooms do not have refrigerators nor air conditioner, which is a challenge during summer months. The service is great and people are very kind and hospitable.

I would say that hotel St. Oswald is perfect place for people who are looking for calm and peaceful place. The advantage is that the nearest cable car is only 10 minutes by walk. The Hotel and the staff was great. We have been on a family ski trip, and it was perfect for all of us. My daughter is lactose intolerant, but the Chef helped her every day, and made special dishes for her. The Hotel Staff was very nice and very friendly. Hotel is really great if you're going skiing with small kids for the first time. They have small magic carpet in front of the hotel, but since there was no snow when we were there, hotel offers minivan transfers to close locations which was a life savior for us since the hotel is up the hill. We had a great week in early June in the Kaiser family's bed and breakfast. We felt completely at ease and enjoyed every day in apartment No. 9 with this wonderful view of the Weissensee.
