the guesthouse does not care about its customers, the contact with the facility is mediocre, the reception instead of explaining the situation argues with the customer without offering alternative solutions, I do not recommend

It was our third stay at this hotel. We're glad we came back. The owners are very hospitable and always helpful. The meals are delicious and plentiful. The rooms are very clean, cozy, and cleaned every three days. The spa area helped us recover after skiing. The ski slopes are a maximum of 20 km away. We will definitely return to Familienhotel Steind again.

We had a 5-room apartment in the annex, very clean and modernly furnished, with 4 double bedrooms and a large eat-in kitchen, a fully equipped kitchenette, a large dining table, and TVs in all rooms. We booked breakfast in the hotel building, which had everything we needed, and the buffet was constantly replenished. The hosts were a super friendly and always helpful couple.

The wellness area was spacious enough, with a sauna, steam room, and infrared sauna, as well as a small, somewhat too cold indoor pool. The location offered a fantastic view of Lake Millstatt.

Highly recommended; we would gladly return.

Very nice hotel. Friendly owner, rich breakfast & absolutely well located for daily hikes.
Super modern sauna and pool area.

Very beautiful place and nice staff. We were very satisfied- big suite, swimming pool and time that we spent here.

The hotel's indoor swimming pool was in repair, but we were reimbursed for admission to the local public indoor swimming pool to the full.

The apartment was very spacious and clean. Only the Wifi reception could be better.

Very nice family hotel very uncomplicated and very family friendly with a good location to the lake.
Large breakfast buffet and good dinner.

We've been here 3 days. We were basically satisfied. The quality and quantity of food is good. However, a short dinner hour between 6pm and 7pm seems rather tight. It wouldn't hurt to change that. The rooms are calm you can relax, but slowly they could use a thorough renovation. Parking is quite cumbersome due to the mountain conditions. The host is a nice, fair man. It can be recommended!
