The rooms are themed and quirky but are quite dated now. They are clean, just dated. The lift broke down and we were on the third floor with suit cases. The location is great as it is right in the middle of things.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Bicycle storage with charging available that gets locked at night. Breakfast was nice, they made us omelettes in addition to the food that was available. Now the rooms.. I can get behind the “experience”. But it was just a bit run down. The floor was scratched up. The rugs were worn. It felt like the room needs a bit of love. WiFi didn’t really reach the room so...

The hotel was booked very much on short notice and everything was perfect. Next time again!

The hotel is old, but it's brightened up by all the antique and recognizable period features, such as a train carriage and a phone booth. The room was clean, tidy, and well-maintained. My only complaint is the Wi-Fi, where streaming programs constantly buffered or simply stopped.

Hi, stayed 2 times and it is an unique place, different style of rooms, good service and very tasty food. Safe travels.

Interesting place. Comfortable, but would not likely book again. Ceiling lights in the bathroom had dead bugs, and decorations were eclectic, but ok. Elevator was needing a good paint job as it had lots of scratches and graffiti. Rug in our room was quite ragged and worn. Gave a 3/5 because the staff was very friendly and accommodating.

The rooms are very clean and beds are comfortable. Location is great, breakfast is good. The pool is much smaller than in the pictures and generally crowded with people. Rooms do not have refrigerators nor air conditioner, which is a challenge during summer months. The service is great and people are very kind and hospitable.

No mini fridge ( it’s hot outside and everyone needs a cold water or something), no air conditioner. The room was stuffy and when the window was opened, it became a good way for mosquitoes to fly inside. The hotel manager was constantly loudly scolding the staff in front of the guests, apparently she thought it looked cool, but in reality it was terrible. The cleaning staff looked hunted and scared...

Rooms were very clean. Service was impeccable and hospitable. We dined at the restaurants diner. The food was really really good 🥰 would definitely recommend to try it at least once if you pass by or stay at the hotel or the area.

Wonderful hotel, great location, perfect hosts. We stayed for 1 night as a driving stop and it was pure luxury. The beds are the kind you’d have (or want) at home - something that is somehow hard to come by when you’re travelling. The place was immaculately kept, with a beautiful garden, fantastic restaurant, and friendly service. Breakfast was hardy and full of choice, including made to order eggs...

Unfortunately I had to cancel my stay very last minute, and the owner was so polite to look for other guests. He had every right to get a full payment from me but still he didn't charge me a single euro. Truly appreciated, I'll certainly come here in my next visit, thank you ❤️

Accidently we reach this hotel because we have a problem with our car. The owner and that staff make us forget about our difficult situation and help us with everything. Thank you very much for all

Bike storage available! Super service, super room, super breakfast. Feels very random to have a hotel like this in Spittal but it works. Would have loved to stay longer.

Impressive menu. Delicious food at very reasonable prices. Very friendly service. If you like Mexican food a recommendation.

Very good hotel with breakfast in a good location on the highway! Old and new buildings with new, tastefully furnished rooms in a central location. All four stars top with a rich breakfast and friendly service. Small drawback unfortunately no restaurant for dinner ... Always my pleasure!

The room was very neat and clean. The beds were good. The bathroom was good too. Breakfast was very, very good. We'll definitely be back.

Completely missing instructions for thr use of air conditioning and any info for guests

We didn’t booked breakfast and we wanted only coffee in the morning and it was gratis. That is very nice.

We accidentally found this hotel during a road trip vacation to Europe in the summer of 2024. We hope to visit again soon. We rented two rooms on the top floor and fell in love with the peaceful mountain and valley views. The balcony and rooms were incredibly clean and well maintained. We came here late evening, found a key on the reception but then it was not clear where our room is as numbers of rooms have nothing to do with floors)) So it was a challenge, rather then that, everything else was just amazing. Good location, fantastic view, nice breakfast, kids playground, and big parking area next to the hotel. My recommendations!

Absolutely beautiful, peaceful, and an amazing location and hotel. If you want a place away from the city busy streets, in the middle of the nature, somewhere where you can relax, then this is it. Everything amazing! I asked if they have any vegan options at the restaurant, and they made me a whole menu! I had soup,salad,main and even a dessert. It was delicious. Can’t thank enough. Nice rooms and wonderful people.
