Great week skiing in early March. Stayed at the Lohmann, conveniently situated in the town, has a ski rental shop on site and good sized boot room with heaters. Rooms very big with lots of storage. The food in the restaurant was good with lots of choice and the wine was very free flowing. All the staff were friendly and helpful including the reception team and restaurant staff. Great value hotel

Can’t rate the staff high enough. Very accommodating and helpful. The food was fantastic would highly recommend this hotel. My father had a medical incident and the help and assistance was outstanding Waiting staff were all friendly and quick to help. Thanks again for a great stay

Hotel Lohman is a wonderful place to stay and exceeds expectations on many levels. Great service great food and with the added benefit of having its own sports shop connected so you can plan your ski trip in one package. I would recommend to a friend.

As a family, we have always enjoyed skiing in Obergurgle. Due to its altitude and being the highest parish in Austria, we have never failed to have plenty of snow. This hotel was excellent in all aspects. We had a warm welcome upon arrival, a drinks voucher given to us for a welcome drink, the staff delivered our bags to the rooms and unpacked the ski gear into the boot room. It was amazing stay in this hotel! All staff is do friendly and polite. We run here a Gletscher trail run and even we did a check out they allowed us to take a shower. It was amazing! And the girl on reception (18.07) was so nice and helpful! Thank you so much, we‘ll back here for sure! Highly recommended!

Rooms are spacious with great views. Breakfast is ok, nothing special. Spa is nice and has a good relaxing area with the views of the Alps. Overall great stay.

Perfect family-run hotel well-positioned in the village. The owners went far beyond the call of duty to help us on our departure day; heavy snowfall was closing the roads and they very kindly lent us snow chains, even fitting them in testing conditions, and having family waiting for us at the base of the valley to help take them off. Would have been stranded in Obergurgl and missed our flights otherwise...

The room was clean and warm. Breakfast is ok, nothing special but gives you enough energy for the start of the day. They have covered private parking which is a plus because you don't have to clean your car every morning. We arrive earlier and they manage to give us the room with a couple of hours before the standard check in. The guest didn't speak english at all and it will be nice to have some glasses...

We were in Obergurgl for 2 weeks over Christmas & New Years to snowboard and Hotel Garni Schönblick was fantastic. The rooms were cozy and comfortable and had a view of the mountains through the windows which was beautiful. It had a great storage room and was truly ski-in-ski-out with the slopes being so close. Our second time in Obergurgl which was a winter wonderland this time. The Hotel Regina is a traditional Austrian hotel, ran by an extremely hard working family. The hotel is immaculately clean. Not ski-in ski-out, but from the basement ski store & heated boot room, it’s a short walk up the road to the nearest piste (Blue 6) with an access point next to the ice rink. Nice clean, comfortable and spacious alpine look room. Stayed on the top floor with a great view of Manigenbachkogel/Stockkogel. Stunning and peaceful in a morning whilst the birds sing. The breakfast is excellent with a large selection and designated table for your stay. The lady of the house is really friendly, as were all the different nationality guests. The basement ski/boot storage is very handy...

Clean and pretty. Quite basic (bring your own toiletries, the property doesn't provide simple cooking items like salt and pepper), but the room was cute and alpine-y with lots of wooden features. We stayed on the ground floor so no view but could imagine higher up would be better. Ok/good value for money. Be aware of the huge hill you have to walk up from the gondola station, it certainly stretches...

The hotel is perfectly located with easy access to the slopes of Obergurgl. It’s a family business and I haven’t met such friendly people/staff running a hotel in a long time. We had a pleasant stay at the Martinshof. Breakfast has everything you need. A small, varied selection of cold cuts is available every day. The jams are homemade. Great family business, very warm with a lot of know-how about the hiking area, including Michael himself who also makes tours. So great. The accommodation is also great, 90 degrees and steam sauna after hiking is just the thing. Breakfast is also good enough to start the day nutritiously.

A rather coincidental find - and what a find. A charming, small guesthouse with beautifully designed rooms, comfortable beds, a rich breakfast, a small, fine wellness area, and extremely friendly and warm hosts.
