The hotel is ok; pleasant smell of wood in the room, spacious with a nice view. The breakfast was also good.
Negative points:
The sound-proofing is terrible, you can hear everything: loud footsteps, conversations etc from the other guests. It seems like a family-friendly hotel too so lots of kids are running around and making noise early in the morning. I wouldn’t recommend if you’re looking for a quiet stay.
It’s a bit in the middle of nowhere which is not necessarily a bad thing but be mindful of the fact that most grocery shops and restaurants will require a bit of a drive.

- The free WiFi gets cut off 6 hours after arrival. Make sure you know how to spoof your MAC address if you want to stay online.
- The car park can only be entered using a terrible intercom system that just rings and rings and rings until someone in reception eventually lets you in. Expect this to take up to 10 minutes every single time. Strangely, there is no such restriction if you (or a car thief) wants to exit the car park.
- There are no electrical sockets within reach of the bed.
- There is no drinking water provided (just a coaster with no glass on it).
- The room is very dimly lit by 4 lights whose switches are pretty well distributed across the 4 corners of the room.
- The receptionist (Thomas) was irritable and rude during check-in. We arrived in good spirits, but he really made the check-in process unnecessarily time-consuming and unpleasant.
- The breakfast is absolutely awful. It's understaffed, so almost everything ran out. The bacon was charred black. A single (very slow) coffee machine serves the entire hotel, causing massive queues. The food itself is terrible quality and saltier than anything I have ever eaten in my life.

Everything was great except at check in. The gentleman who checked us in was extremely unfriendly and kept speaking (poor) English even though I spoke German to him. I’d have given 5 stars if it wasn’t because of him.

Just amazing Hotel. Must take half board with 3 course menu. really worth it. Service just great and staff is very king. Highly recommend. If you have trip to South Germany, drive extra 1 hour and stay at this hotel.

Wonderful hotel in the middle of nothing. The staff is excellent, rooms are clean with an excellent view on the mountains. The breakfast was also good. Car parking is included in the price. Small thing that bothered us: no power outlets near the bed to charge your phone or other devices.
