Lankaran Springs & Wellness Resort in Lankaran

I stayed at Lankaran Springs Wellness Resort with a group of friends, and unfortunately, our vacation was completely ruined by the hotel’s management style, financial dishonesty, and lack of flexibility.
1. Financial Dishonesty and Refusal to Refund (Major Issue) I booked directly with the hotel. The pricing policy is completely opaque and illogical.
They quoted 238.50 AZN for my "2+1" room.
220.50 AZN for the exact same "2+1" room for another person in our group. A room for 3 adults was quoted at 229.50 AZN.
The hotel refused to explain this price discrepancy. Upon check-in, after I insisted, they finally admitted the error and did a recalculation. However, they refused to return the difference in money, citing a "no refund policy." Essentially, the hotel is withholding my money and refuses to engage in resolving this issue. This feels like theft and consumer deception.
2. Absurd Restrictions and Aggressive Staff The service is extremely rigid with zero customer focus:
There are tables and chairs in common areas, but guests are not allowed to drink tea there. We were not allowed to sit outside.
The staff reacts aggressively if you try to pour tea from the breakfast pot at 11:01 AM (one minute after breakfast ends), even though the tea is right there. Instead of relaxing, you feel constantly stressed by these nonsensical rules.
3. Unresponsive Room Service Service is chaotic. To place an order for room service, I had to call 4 times. The first few times, no one answered, and no one called back. When we finally managed to order, the food took a very long time to arrive.
Summary: We came here to relax, but left frustrated. I cannot recommend this hotel due to their unfair financial practices and poor attitude toward guests. They owe me money and have made no effort to fix it.

Over the past 3–4 years, I have stayed at Lankaran Springs Hotel with my family many times, always hoping to finally see some improvement. Unfortunately, the opposite is happening — the hotel is getting worse every year, and I’ve completely lost patience.

Our stay on October 10–11 (room 500, 2 adults + 2 children) was the last straw.

We checked in and went to the lobby restaurant, only to find nothing but fast food. Nuggets, pizza, fries — that’s it. For a place that calls itself a “Wellness Hotel,” offering such unhealthy and low-quality food is downright disrespectful.

We asked, “What about national cuisine?” The answer: “There’s a Sumak restaurant upstairs, but you can’t go there. It’s booked for a corporate event.”

Ridiculous. A paying guest arrives at the hotel but isn’t even told which services are available. If a main restaurant is closed, it is your responsibility to inform guests in advance when they make the reservation.

The Kids Club? It exists only in the advertisements — in reality, it has been locked for years.

And in the evening, this so-called wellness hotel turns into a nightclub. The live music in the lobby is so loud that it’s impossible to relax. I came here to escape the noise of Baku, yet I felt like I was right back in the middle of it.

I calmly and respectfully expressed all these issues to the staff — no reaction at all. I even asked for just a 30-minute late check-out — the answer was simply: “No.”

It’s clear that this hotel does not value its customers.

For me, Lankaran Springs is finished. If anyone still wants to go — feel free, but be prepared: no wellness, just fast food and noise.

Great view and location (in nature), but no services nearby.
Room is great but bathroom has a problem with water drainage with no real solution. Music is on all night with no sound barrier it becomes annoying while trying to sleep early.
Just like other hotels english is a barrier in communication. Service is meh asked for bathroom cleaning and they didnt till i came back and called again.
Water drainage seems to be an old problem from the marks on the door.
