Starway Hotel in Lankaran

DO NOT BOOK! THEY ARE PROFESSIONAL SCAMMERS. These guys tried to scam us saying we had to pay the hotel fee even though we had already paid for our stay in full. Despite proof of payment and confirmation they still said they hadn't received our payment. They pretended like they didn't understand us and didn't speak any english.

Dear friends and compatriots, we are writing a review on all possible sources about the travel company Izumrud and the Starway hotel with which this company cooperates. If you do not want to spoil your vacation, then it is better not to contact the Emerald company, since you will not receive anything from what was promised in the program. The entire travel company seems to consist of one single person - Javid, who is the general director, and the owner of the hotel, and the guide, and by the way the only person who speaks passable Russian or English. Of all the excursions that were promised, we were given only one - an overview of Lankaran with two accompanying people who speak only Azerbaijani. Therefore, this cannot be called an excursion. The service at the hotel leaves much to be desired - when we asked to replace wet towels with dry ones and remove the trash can, a girl came to us clearly unhappy that this had to be done, quickly threw the towels on the bed and left, slamming the door. Therefore, if you expect that you will have a clear time on this trip, a schedule, guides who know the history of the region and speak Russian, then this is definitely not the option. The only thing I want to say is thank you to our young driver and the owner and staff of the Panorama restaurant - these are people who really did their job well and communicated with us wonderfully. We fled from Lankaran 3 days after the start of the tour, when we realized that we would not get anything from the program - from the author's tour only names. Beautiful booklets, beautifully designed vouchers, many beautiful words on the site - it's a pity that everything is not true. Think many times whether you want to lose your 50-60 thousand rubles per person. Since we were not offered to return anything for the services not rendered.

The sheets weren't that much clean. The rooms didn't include breakfast. The reception didn't speak English well.
