Vis Palm Hotel Ganja in Ganja

Overall, our stay at Vis Palm, Ganja was a highly enjoyable experience. The staff were courteous, professional, and consistently attentive, making the stay feel warm and welcoming from check-in to check-out.
The design of the hotel is strikingly modern and elegant, with wide corridors that not only add a sense of spaciousness but also suggest thoughtful attention to fire safety. The materials used throughout the property are clearly high-end, giving a luxurious feel to the entire space.
However, a few design choices stood out as misfires, especially for a premium brand:
1. The toilet placement in the bathroom is extremely tight—wedged between the wall and the vanity. It’s a tight squeeze even for an average-sized person, and borderline unusable for larger guests.
2. The vanity’s countertop edge is sharply cut with no rounding, which makes it unpleasantly jab into your shoulder while sitting on the toilet. A softer finish would’ve made a big difference.
3. The heating system was the biggest downside. While the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries air conditioning was excellent for cooling, the heating seemed to come solely from radiator-style water heaters near the window, which couldn’t be turned off or adjusted. As a result, the room was uncomfortably hot at night during winter. The thermostat appeared useless in regulating the heat, which forced me to shut off the A/C (which only cooled the room), but didn’t solve the sauna effect.
In summary, Vis Palm nails the big picture and delivers a sophisticated experience, but some of the finer details need a second look—especially if they want to truly compete as a premium brand.

Excellent hotel. Location in the city center. There is free parking. I liked everything - location, staff, breakfast, interior. Everything is on the level. What I liked most is that the hotel is Pet friendly and allows pets.

This is five star hotel which has lovely wide corridors and well-lit. It is only a year old so everything is modern and new. I like the bedroom size, which also has a balcony. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom is great. Reception is great however bar staff needs improvement. The staff and porters are polite and helpful. The breakfast is scant and could do with variety of cereals, dried fruits and nuts. The breakfast area is small and tables are taken at busy times so have to sit on sofas so eating can be uncomfortable. I would recommend it for one night stay.

Situated on a busy Shah Ismaili Avenue, this was not in the pleasantest of locations, though in a clean locality with supermarkets etc. around. The rooms, amenities etc. were first class though, with care taken towards cleanliness and upkeep. The staff was very helpful and eager to please, there was someone at the front desk all day and night, and effectively trained, including in english language skills. Though there was a western breakfast, once again there was no english speaking person there to understand what fried eggs were (not an omelet).

Es war echt sehr gut. Das Personal war sehr nett. Das Zimmer war sauber, hell. Die WC war auch sehr sauber. Dieses Hotel ist echt krass und moderne. Danke für die Unterkunft. Very nice, clean, modern hotel. The staff is very friendly.
