Great hotel with a great location and panoramic views of the city. Everything is clean and well maintained. The hosts are very kind and always online. Breakfast is homemade and delicious. It is possible to buy wine, homemade jam, etc. .. all things that are their own production. There is also an underground parking lot, which is a big plus for a city like Melnik.

A nice newly constructed and furnished house in a traditional style, on a top location in the town. The host Antoan is amazing - very friendly and enthusiastic in telling us about the history of the region, landmarks, wine production and other interesting things. And all the communication was in good English. He organized a wine tasting in their own cellar, which is actually a cave in the specific...

We had an excellent three day stay at this hotel. The extra care and attention to detail was noticed and appreciated by us. Not only was our dog allowed to stay, but she was sincerely welcomed. The place was warm and clean and the location and views were unbeatable.

Here's preserved the classic atmosphere of the old town. If you are about to stay in Melnik for a weekend , I'd recommend this place. Rooms are clean and warm.The saff is very polite and in favor of the customer. Loved the breakfast! Those mekitsas are a must try! Ask for the wine list as well. One drawback is the rooftop rooms don't get much sunlight during the day.

The place is fantastic if you are looking for a quiet fairytale hidden gem. Ideal for recharging after a long week/month. The hotel and the restaurant were great, the nature all around was incredible, but the staff was superb. Highly recommend it!

Nice hotel with excellent location along a stream with children's playground and enough parking space. The building outside looks are kept in accordance to old authenticity styles. Inside, although modern is also felt a touch of the old times. The restaurant offers excellent food with fresh ingredients cooked on order. Also there is outstanding home made desserts! The internet is good enough for gaming...

Great place. Luxurious, calm, great staff, room, food. We enjoyed the wonderful views of the mountains, hot spring pool and enjoyed the nature and surroundings. Wished we had spent more days there. We will be back!

We had a lovely short stay and we hope to return for longer. The grass on our terrace was not mowed which seemed odd and the double bed was two singles pushed together with two duvets which was unusual and not expected at Relais & Chateaux. Staff in the hotel were great.

Fantastic views, food, wine and spa The resturant, wine tasting and the estate was fantastic! Great service, friendly staff and great food. Dont miss out on the wine tasting or the fine dining. The spa area and the massages were amazing. 10/10!

Hospitality, architecture, culture, food and vibe ... This is one of the best places I have ever visited. The buildings are beautiful and calming. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Food is great. Pools, nature and surroundings are wonderful. Their homemade products are absolutely wonderful. From Wines to the sheep youghurt and honey on the breakfast table. Simply splendig

As person who had stayed in different chateaux arround the word including the valley of Loire in France and private mansions in Italy the Zornitza estate is one if kind in Bulgaria and stands out before any other . The relaxing atmosphere, elegance and comfort along with amazing personal service grant you one amazing experience .

It is a very nice place. But sometimes the water in the pool is too cold. The food in both restaurants is amazing.

Restaurant was good. Dishes were tasty and picturesque. Waitress was well-knowledgeable about the region and treated us well. House wine was top notch. Location is good - no way to miss it. Summer hot was dispersed with fans. Sadly the dry riverbed nearby did not brought any refreshment. Look out for the local cat Gosho so you would not step on him :)

The food is delicious! Tripe soup its very different from what i know before but very good (dont put too much vinegar, its very tough). Also the lamb is good. The local ice cream is amazing. And the waitress... Well i am in love :))).

We tried the Sach, it was tasty and well-cooked, but a bit too greasy for our liking. Service is excellent and lady was very friendly, she also accomodates us by speaking English. Menu is pretty long and extensive. We stayed for 3 nights and this mexana has good flow of customers every night. We saw the next table ordered skewered meat and it looks awesome.

Highly recommended! It is an excellently located, clean and very cozy hotel. Our room was spacious and had a terrace with a nice view, air conditioning and fridge. A great place to stay, with nice garden and restaurant. The staff are really pleasant. A truly pet friendly place as well, they have two cute dogs and our boxer felt at home there.

Always a delight to stay at the Elli Greco hotel. Very nice people, there's a pool outside. It's right outside the town, so you can enjoy great views at the night sky. Dogs are allowed.

Simply perfection in everything they do. I'm definitely going back there.

This very well decorated restaurant is amazing, great food choices, with wonderful friendly waiters and not too expensive at all. However, it's not wheelchair accessible and have to go down the stairs, to get to the toilets, but has no disabled toilet. It's not too far from it's monastery too, and should not be missed. Definitely do recommend.

What a beautiful place, with kind and caring people. The hotel is small and cosy, with excellent cuisine and really good staff. The Rozhen monastery is only 1 km away and is a must see.

Clean, cosy, nice hosts, cool temperature during the summer, amazing view from the rooms with windows towards the street. A gem of a town, Melnik.

The room having 2 large beds, has access to own terrace with a big table, and also a small table for rainy days. Bathroom not ideal as having shower over toilet space but was clean and acceptable.

Good house, (for this money) but restaurants near by is bad. Old food, long cooking time.

Amazing location near St. Anthony's church. Staff is friendly and always with a smile, rooms are cozy and clean, delicious food in the restaurant! Bolyarka is my preferred hotel in Melnik and in my top 3 hotels in Bulgaria.

Clean, traditionally decorated hotel with OK wifi. I was happy to stay there. Breakfast was included with our room and was very tasty: eggs, ham, cheese, jam, and lots of toast. This is a perfect place to stay in the winter with a wood burning fireplace and great heat in the room.

Lovely garden. The menu's English translations could use some help. Great food nonetheless. Try the pork and chicken satch and the sheep yogurt with wild strawberries or blueberries.

Comfortable rooms and clean. Friendly staff. Free parking outside. It also has a restaurant with balcony that prepares well grilled steaks.

Good saturday night poor sunday night stay When full ( saturday night )breakfast next day was a large buffet ,So stay saturday and do not expect good breakfast if you stay sunday night . Its then small cup of coffee glass of aryan a a piece of banitsa . If bringing kids beware of loose sockets ,Bathroom shower is just taps on wall so water goes everywhere .large room , good tiled bathroom , staff...

I like the place. The people that work there are very helpful. The rooms are in the old style which is very romantic. However, some of the rooms are small. There were some issue with our AC but it managed to heat the room. The restaurant is very nice with fireplace. Also, there is a fireplace in the lobby. The prices for food are very good. The only thing I did not like was the lack of parking and...

Very nice place with old Bulgarian looks and feeling. Neat room, all the furniture is in one style. Tasty and various dishes (many vegetarian and vegan, also alcohol free beer). Friendly and helpful staff! Good breakfast!

Good food. Not what would i call kid friendly, as there are no rails or any safety measures when walking up/down the outside stairs (don't take the stairs if drunk). Friendly staff. cannot comment on the rooms as we went just for the food.
