A wonderful guesthouse. The included breakfast was very good and dinner was also very delicious, sitting by the fire. Table sevice was very informative and polite. The room was warm and clean. Also in a great and quiet location. Highly recommend!

Magnificent place. Tranquility and peace dominate this extraordinary location in the mountains. Excellent for detox of one's mind, meditation, self-realization. I had to discontinue my antihypertensive pills shortly after staying there :-)

A great pleasure to stay! The hotel is at the end of this lovely and quiet village, which seems to have survived the Middle-ages. We were here in springtime, everything around was green and full of singing birds which lull you into sleep. The restaurant is very popular and crowded at lunch hours. All the smell from the kitchen goes at the upper floor because of lack of fresh air. Serving is OK, some waiters know English. The food is regular, as a the prices. I only tried the restaurant, but they also have a hotel.

This is by far the best service my family and I have gotten anywhere. It starts off with a charming traditional styled village steeped in history, where you get greeted by the friendliest staff known to man. I have just come back from visiting this beautiful house. It's set in a fairytale like village. The owners are very friendly and helpful and I had the small house all to myself. The dogs are adorable and lovely to have around, they are fun and friendly. I already want to go back and highly recommend it!

It is a unique experience to spend the night in Bozhentsi, and it is even better to feel the spirit of the village in one of the houses. Looking for luxury is not for this place, you have a bed, bathroom, towels, but do not expect a TV in the room at any cost. Bozhentsi is a beautiful mountain village with authentic spirit and beautiful nature. The village does not have many amenities in the modern world, but offers everything you need to relax and unwind. I visited "Balabanovata kashta" hotel in July 2018. The hotel is at a great location on the main pedestrian street where all of the nice shops and craftsmen are located. So peaceful! A guest house at the end of the road of a town at the end of the highway in the Balkan mountains. Fantastic food, great atmosphere, and beautiful surroundings. Try the home-made rakia, the bean soup, and the baklava!
