Helpful receptionist. Spotless room. Good location.

It’s not the best hotel I’ve been to, but overall it’s not bad either. The rooms are clean, well air conditioned, tidy. The staff is also very friendly. The only objection is that you cannot pay with cards, so if you haven't managed to change money into local currency - you have a problem! 😁

I stayed in that hotel for a working mission in Razgrad. The place is clean, warm, the breakfast could have more (local) fruits but is ok. The restaurant serves very good food. For that price, this is a very good deal

Clean , room is big ... swimming pool its okay and beautiful garden , very quiet place.

We have stayed here 5 times and each time we love it , this is the 1st we got to the pool ,it was fantastic the bar outside was fully stocked and the staff were friendly and helpful

A perfect stopover on our travel. A good dinner, wonderful pool, excellent staff. We really regretted to leave before spending another day here. For sure we will return and I will recommend this place.

Nice family oriented hotel. Very quiet and located near the park I run and swim every morning . The pool is good size and well maintained.

There is a restaurant on the ground floor and a life chalga music till midnight. So is not easy to get asleep, before AM

Pool was not usable in the middle of June (just frogs in it, the only "customers") but food was ok-ish. Also, pretty cheap place, staff is doing their best (english is "spoken" by signs and translate) but overall it was a 4/5 of a 3-star hotel

If you are backpacker is expensive but for hotel the price is normal. I have read the comments. The hotel furniture are not old but some places needs a fix. Breakfast good enough. Parking spot with security camera. Stuff were kind. Nice cat outside of the door is waiting for some remains of your food.

The same kind gentleman who helped us with our suitcases when we were there before also helped us this time. The hotel is very centrally situated right next to the main square and pedestrian only walkway with lots of shops and park areas nearby. Lovely hotel. Reception was spotless and welcoming but very slow. Checking in and out of the hotel went smoothly but slow. Rooms were great. Mattress on the spot. Only the ventilation in the bathroom was weird. Breakfast was a premade portion and although they didn't know the difference between vegan and vegetarian they corrected it without a problem.

Only one stuff speak English. Hard to communicate. They don't have tea or coffe at breakfast.

Good location of the hotel, there is a large grocery store nearby, hotel prices are inflated for what they offer. There was no refrigerator in the room, and it was written that there was one in the rooms. It is warm, the heating is central, the room has air conditioning and TV. The cable is not of good quality at all, the picture is quite bad, but it is not desperately bad. I did not like the hygiene...

We stopped to have quick lunch. However it was so nice so we decided to stay a bit. The personal is very professional. The garden is amazing, our kid enjoyed so much. In the restaurant everything is good. The food is very tasty.

Nothing special. Old building and room's furniture, though clean rooms. Few kilometres away from Targovishte but with car you can make it for 5min. Beside some drawbacks, the place is quiet, peaceful, and with nice nature.

A beatiful old bulgarian style hotel in Shumen city. The restaurant is perfect for family and for business parties.

Nice hotel for 1 or 2 nights stay. Comfy clean rooms, nearby park and frer parking available. The food at the restaurant is good but they don't have everything on the menu. Breakfast is the same everyday and they have nothing homemade for breakfast. Pillows are not comfortable.

Cheap and comfortable, Bulgarian ospitality, 11 pages menu also in English, don't look the hotel pic! In spring and now in summer is in the middle of flower and green. Big park around, musib all night! For adults and childrens!

You should cut another star, because you can't find a parking space at this hotel! One solution would be to park in Bucharest, at the North Station, at the mayor's office, and sleep in Sumen at the Mehdjarel hotel ...

We have stayed here for 1 week in February 2017 and I cannot praise this Hotel enough. It is a small hotel , but the staff are great and the rooms are very clean. we are going back in April and staying here again. It is very handy for the city centre and easy to find.

Very clean for this price range! Everyone at the reception and in the restaurant in the lobby were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was very rich and prepared on the spot (choose one of 4 options for breakfast). Panorama restaurant on 7th floor was very good with excellent menu. Only minus is that it's open from 6pm. Overall very nice experience!

A lovely stay here, good prices, nice accommodations, the room was very modern clean and had everything you need ! The meal we had at night was absolutely fabulous!!! One of the best we have had in a long time here in bg. Hotel Madara in Shumen Bulgaria. It used to be a good hotel with bars and disco 40 years ago. Not anymore I guess. Just a hotel now.

Everything was great about this place!!! Would definitely come back to Shumen just to stay another night at the hotel! The feeling is like being a royal family, such a luxury. Moreover, the staff were so kind and friendly, rooms - very clean and bright! We had a balcony with an amazing view of the city and the center of Shumen!

Beautiful furniture everywhere; even in the corridors. Lovely mirrors. Great staff. (I lost my car keys and the staff were very helpful, taking care if my baggage till I found them and ordering me a taxi.)

It is our favourite place to sleep over in our way to Greece. Clean room, comfort beds. You can pay with card and fair price. Our next trip to Turkey and we will again stay at Otantik!!! :) P.s. this is the only place where we could pay with card in the town

I've been there for one day and it was very good. The atmosphere is how should I say this, a little bit kitsch (Italian, Chinese, and maybe more styles) downstairs entrance and diningroom. But the room (22) was huge, clean, good shower, good bed and a good continental breakfast. It's a little bit outside the center but for sure recommendable. Located in a quiet area. Staff were very friendly. Minibar...

The bed was awful, the room is very basic. The only good thing is the staff, which was helpful and friendly. The most important for one hotel is the bed and to be quiet, here was only quiet.
