We had a great stay at Manteo Resort. The service was excellent — everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well taken care of, which we really appreciated.

The only downside was the gym. It’s quite small, the equipment is limited, and much of it feels old and in need of an upgrade. For a resort of this level, a better fitness facility would make a big difference.

Overall, still a very good experience, but hoping to see improvements to the gym in the future.

I recently stayed here for a visit with my daughter while she moved. This hotel offered a fantastic place to rest ourselves. Highly recommend and I will be back for future stays!

A charming place to relax in front of Lake Okanagan. Spacious rooms, excellent lighting, cozy if you want to rest and functional if you are traveling on business.
Swimming pool, gym, private beach, suncatcher rentals, jet skis, paddle surfing, among other activities.
Restaurant service with live music in the Maestros Mediterranean restaurant and terrace.

The room was older - old kitchen appliances, carpet, decor, etc. - and had a bit of a smell. Not what I was expecting from one of Kelowna's best destinations. We did not have robes in our room and needed to call up for an extra blanket for the couch bed that our kids slept on. The bed sheets were clean and I had a comfortable night's sleep - so overall it suit our purpose. Not sure I would run back as there are much better options at comparable prices.

The stay was pretty great! The only downfall was when I booked it they told me there was a king bed a queen bed, and a pullout couch. There was not a pullout couch and when I raised my concern they didn’t seem to really do anything about it.

Service was good, but that's all. Had linguine and wife had chicken & prawns. The pasta was sub par, and there were only 3 prawns to the chicken & prawns dish. Kinda felt like they were trying too hard to be a trendy foodie restaurant especially considering the food was overpriced for the quality.

I have a feeling that the pizza would be ok; although pizza is pretty hard to screw up so take that for what it's worth

This restaurant is likely one of the best ones to visit while in Kelowna. Although it is a little further out from downtown the view is spectacular and the overall experience was unforgettable.

Pros: location by the lake is romantic, scenic and breathtaking. Service was good and very accommodating to larger parties. Food selection is good with shared plates, customized pizza and a large selection of desserts and appetizers. There is a beautiful patio that is gorgeous whether by day or night (when it’s all lit up). It is conveniently located in a hotel so it draws in the foot traffic from the hotel.

Cons: prices are a little on the high side with entrees running up to $35 and starters from $15 – 18 per plate. The restaurant has a lounge / bar area, a patio and a dining section. The bar area tends to get a little loud.

I would visit again but be prepared to spend a bit of money if you are really hungry. For those of us on a budget, we ended up ordering pizza and shared plates.

First off, I want to say that the food was very good and our waiter was awesome. The hostess however, was either very stressed from it being a Friday night, or just not good. I'll give her the benefit of the doubt, since it was busy and she was actually very nice.we arrived 30 min early for our reservation and asked if we could get a drink at the bar, to which we were told yes, but that would negate our patio reservation, I thought that was very odd, so we politely said no thanks, and went next door for a drink. We came back at our booked time, and was told there was a 15-20 min wait for our patio table, and then asked us to sit in the lounge and have a drink while waiting... Uh... What? She then proceeded to sit 2 couples outside that came in and put their names after us, it was only when I asked what the eta was that she remembered us and sat is right away. The rest of the night went very well and the food and drinks were great.

Wow. We had a fantastic lunch here in mid-December 2011. One of the best lake views in Kelowna for lunch. Seven of us ate and drank for $300 including tax and service. The food was very well presented and of excellent quality. The waiter (Evan) was very attentive and met our every request. Certainly would recommend it for any special occasions.

I was not overly impressed. I enjoyed the location that was great and the server was very attentive and he was able to explain everything we ordered but I did find the food a little bland and under seasoned. I would certainly try them again another time in the hopes that maybe it was a "bad day" but I cannot say they would get a shining review at this point.

Wine drinkers beware! Went for dinner just last night and ordered a glass of Summerhill Reisling and ended up paying $18.50 for 8ounces! The wine menu lists prices per glass, 1/2 liter, full bottle. The price in the glass column was $5.25 turns out that was for only 3 oz. I did not specifically ask how much for 8oz, but I was also not informed when I questioned the price in the menu. It would have been cheaper for me to get three 3 oz glasses at $5.25 and it would have been an ounce more than what I got. The food was awesome once it finally arrived, a very, very long wait between all the courses. We ended up having to eat dessert while paying our bill since our alloted hour and a half for dinner had long past . Will not do dinner there again.

I've been here many times and it never disappoints. The food and service is easily some of the best you'll find anywhere in Kelowna. The escargot is one of the best things I've ever eaten and the wine selection includes many local favourites. I'm not sure I understand where some of the 1-star ratings are coming from - not possible.
