While I enjoyed my stays and it is my 2nd stay at Christmas with the hotel. I am disappointed that the kitchen closes down during Christmas especially for breakfast. I had took cab to recommended breakfast restaurant but found it closed for Christmas as well. I did not find it located to many walkable amenities. That said because it is near family I would always choose this hotel

Very classy room with a gas fireplace and jetted tub. Price was very good for the quality of room.

We sure enjoyed staying here while spending time with family for Christmas. It felt like home away from home. It was Christmas when you walked through the door!! So beautiful! The staff, so friendly but what I especially loved is how clean everywhere was!!! The lobby, rooms, even the parking garage all so clean!! Staying here was “ grande” and will be our go to home when we come again :)

The property is very clean . The staff were polite and considerate . Our original room was above a ballroom . The front desk moved us to a quieter area when we checked in

Booked there because it has a restaurant ans good price. They book our private events which left no room for me

Staff were courteous. The room was clean. Some improvements would be welcomed, like more outlets in the room to connect your laptop, phone charger. I tried to use the hair dryer and it didn't work, not sure if it was the outlets or the dryer itself. The mini fridge was noisy. We would have liked the restaurant to be open at least for breakfast. Thank you.

The Port-O-Call Inn & Suites

It’s a good location, close to downtown and close to the bus stop if you’re not driving. A nice Korean restaurant at the hotel. Good food.

They didn’t have paper towels at all. Bathroom tap was leaking even after locking it tightly. Need to be more clean and bright

Room was very clean, staff was great there for any concerns i had. Bed was very comfortable

The room was being renovated but was clean. Tge staff were great - welcoming us and iur dog with treats!

The room was fine, though unusually styled. Pictures hung up with a screw going right through the canvas, not placed anywhere logical on the wall etc. Not a big deal by any means, but odd enough to warrant a raised eyebrow on initial inspection of the room. No towels in the bathroom, had to grab backup from living area storage. Checking in was easier said than done, the desk wasn’t manned even 1...

Very convenient location. Friendly and helpful room service staff as well as the reception. Room and the futniture are clean but the bathroom was ok.

Departure Bay Motel

Paul was great at check in, however, the room was in need of a proper cleaning. There is no pride showing in the care of this property.

As a woman alone. Area does feel safe. I come here often. Staff is great. I like family run bussinesses. Parkng is right out front of the door.

Beds were clean and comfortable, quick overnight place to rest our heads. There was a lot of night time activity in the adjacent rooms, but once I was asleep I didn’t hear anything. It was safe and convenient location very close to ferry. Price was great.

Staff was nice. We were there for 3 nights. Bed are comfy. Not all rooms are renovated. We got one that wasn't. It smelled a little of smoke but that could be the people smoking outside the rooms. I suggest not staying more than one night. But if you are looking for a cheap stay, this motel works.

Staff was friendly and helpful. One wall in the bathroom was dirty. Something black was on the sheets. Bed was comfortable.

They were okay there was alot hoodlums hanging out at night which made me very nervous to walk my dog as they were asking me how long ive been staying here and questions that made me think why whats gonna happen and the place was filthy gross to be honest tge sheets had blood on them and they didnt even try to huge the stain right at the top of the bed the stove wiw nasty the sofa bed was impossible...

The room was everything I asked for, I use the kitchen daily for preparing my meals. It took me a little while to get the fridge to refrigerate to my liking. The bathroom spacious in the bedroom what’s perfect as I was the solo traveler in the honeymoon suite

Lovely staff, pet friendly, and for being on the old island highway it is quite quiet. Very convenient location

The staff were not kind i didnt get my recipet and check in and the man got upset assuming i got it and then the lady worker also wasnt kind wjen we first checked in If you looking for affordable one night stay kindnof deal this is the hotel, the room was bad was spacious not much hot water, Very noisy with partiers in the area kept hearing banging and yelling and walking on porch Would not stay...

Newly renovated Room is recently renovated. Bathroom was especially clean and new. Beds were older but still good. We were catching the first morning ferry so the location was great. Also close to two nice parks, one on the harbour and the other had a waterfall. Price was steep for a motel room, but overall pleased with our stay

This large and lovely home is situated in a serene upscale neighborhood north of Nanaimo proper. My girlfriends and I rented two rooms. Both rooms had spectacular, unobstructed views. Charles, the owner/manager, was a delight. Some beautiful beach walks are only a five-minute drive away, but would not be easy for 70 y.o. knees to walk to due to the steepness of the road up the house. Also, come prepared...

Good view B&B house. this beautiful B&B house is really good, host is friendly and helpful , good breakfast . Only the location are little bit difficult to find, but GPS can show the way easy.
