Super 8 Sarnia in Sarnia

Had a great time at this hotel. Nice and cozy and great for the price. Complimentary breakfast with a waffle maker my fiance and I enjoyed. Staff were incredibly nice and helpful especially Sprash!. Only complaint is that the walls are a bit thin but for the price and quality it was quickly forgets.

Our stay with this motel was amazing. The staff were kind and friendly. The room was clean, specious and the bed was so comfortable to sleep in. The complimentary breakfast was great. The price of this motel was very affordable, I would recommend this motel to all my family and friends to stay in.

We stayed here during the International Silver Stick. The hotel was very accommodating as they had a few teams stay here. A little bit pricey but again it was during a major hockey tournament.The room was very clean but did seem smaller than most double queen rooms. The bathroom is updated and the water pressure was amazing !! Refrigerator, microwave and a coffee pot were on hand.Wifi connection was good and definitely fast. If you need an iron and an ironing board they are at the front desk. However the only size of ironing board are those little wee ones. If you require a first floor room , make sure you ask as they do not have an elevator to the second floor. The breakfast is your typical Super 8…with that amazing waffle iron machine!! But bring back the pancake machine!!As for the location , there is a McDonald’s across the street ,Subway close by and plenty of gas stations. There are plenty of niche restaurants and pubs very close by, all in walking distance. If you are looking for the big restaurants most are only a 5-8 minute drive away. BUT…..the restaurant attached to the hotel is very hard to get a reservation!, it’s suppose to be amazing but unfortunately we couldn’t get in . Highway is very accessible and made it easy to get to the rinks which were only a 30 minute drive. Overall a pleasant place to stay .

My room was clean, staff were very helpful. The manager Rose was amazing. We were there for a hockey tournament and as you can imagine our kids can get out of hand at times. Rose was so patient and kind to them even helping them find hiding spots when they played hide and seek. This was a very “hockey family” friendly hotel. Rose made all the difference from helping the parents to showing kindness and understanding with our kids.

I was so happy with this stay. The staff was very accommodating to my requests. The room was very clean and comfortable. The waffle, yogurt and coffee was a good breakfast. The entire Super 8 is clean and fresh. I will definitely be back.

It's a great hotel for the price. We love the location, and the staff is always amazing!
