Best Western Plus Guildwood Inn in Sarnia

Took me a week to decide to write this out. This place is becoming a joke. I eat here frequently as the food is good depending who's cooking that day.
This issue was not with me, but as a guest, I feel it's a bad image for the owners, management and staff that work there. This guy (who claims he runs the show) is outside arguing with another guest over some road rage was my guess. It was posted all over social media. This guy - who runs the place??? Really? Been dining here for more then 4 years and this guy is new...maybe a line cook? Maybe a supervisor? The nerve of a staff member to argue in front of other guests and bring his work into a personal situation was very unprofessional. Kids witness this and I watched a family pack back up and leave as they obviously didn't want their kids to see such ridiculous behaviour from the person. If I was an owner or manager over this person, I'm sorry but he would be fired. You lost 8 guest in the 10 mins outburst from your kitchen staff member. Is he worth that much, that your going to risk your business and guest that pay your staff? Personally I haven't been back since. His cooking sucks. The wait staff is always amazing. Sucks to see their faces come out of that kitchen. You know when this "so called" cook is working. The poor wait staff faces are long and you can see they can't stand when this man is working.
I don't like to leave things on a negative note. So here is my kudos:
Wait staff- it's difficult to work with a nasty cook that thinks he runs the place...keep your heads up and smile. We guest do see things and do appreciate friendly service. It makes things all better.
To the breakfast cook-thank you for always accommodating my orders. Thus young guy always makes my order perfect and you can tell he loves his job. Keep your head up...i couldn't imagine having to work beside a self-centered boss.
To the owner...take care of your staff. They all work hard. Love the restaurant
Do think you need to look into this guy "Derek" (found a name on social media) And get the poison out of your establishment before you lose your guests and your good staff.
To the staff at Shellys keep up the great work!! Something needed to be said about this guy. Hope it helps each and everyone of you in some way!! Peace and love to all.

Ignorant and rude wait staff. Food was ok but first time I have left 0 tip. Wouldn't go back if it was free.
