I stayed for two nights over Valentine’s weekend. After booking, I was a little worried because many of the reviews were quite negative. However, I honestly don’t understand why there were so many bad comments. The hotel was much better than I expected, especially considering the price. Empire Suites is a location-first, no-frills hotel. The metro is extremely close, there are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, and it’s about a 5-minute walk from the Gare d’Autocars de Montréal, which is a big plus if you’re arriving by bus. Check-in was quick, efficient, and friendly. The lobby is small but cozy and comfortable. The room was very clean upon arrival, but was never serviced...

Stayed there for a Saturday night. The ladies at check in were super sweet. The room was nice size, great bathroom. Could use some cosmetic touch up. The bed was the worst part, hard and uncomfortable. Overall for the price this hotel is well worth it.

Overall a great place to stay. Quite a convenient to stay considering it's between Old and Downtown Montreal.

Will be staying there again very soon.

It's only a two-minute walk from the subway station, which is very convenient for doing things in the city. The breakfast in the morning is just bread, milk, juice and coffee. It's simple, but it's cost-effective.

When I travel, I love to tent a room thst makes you "feel" the charm and soul of where you are visiting. Loved this little hoté where we rentrd s suite with two bedrooms. The rooms are clean, the service was great

My family of five had a lovely stay at this hotel and we will be sure to stay here again when visiting family in the future. Turguay was very attentive and helpful in ensuring that we would be able to get into the hotel even though our train was very late; the room was perfect; and the hotel was centrally located. This hotel was also very reasonably priced.

This is the best hotel in Montréal by far. Location is close to everything and supermarket next door. Most of the room are suite with kitchen, full size fridge. Very warm welcome by the owner. He is one of the smartest, funniest small business owner. He has been travel around the world and he respects all kind of lives. 5 stars to the staffs and this place.

The hotel owner was really kind, and the room condition was excellent. It was close to all amenities, and having a kitchen was a great plus! However, please note that there is no elevator, so it might be difficult for travelers with heavy luggage. I would love to stay here again if I return to Montreal!

We spent a week at this wonderful hotel and will definitely choose it again next time! Excellent conditions, clean (the room was cleaned and towels were changed every day!). I must also mention the hotel's excellent location and the very attentive and pleasant owner, who welcomed us as his guests!

Had a great time here, rooms were clean and quiet and it was nice to have a fully equipped kitchen in the room. Not so sure about the way they make the beds but I guess it’s cultural… I would surely be back. 4 stars over the lack of gym/fitness facilities.

Great location and good to have laundry room but points taken off for terrible wifi (non-existent), smelly elevator and non punctual service. We asked for housekeeping and they said it was too late around 4PM and they could do it the following day. The next day the housekeeping came at 4:30 pm, after we had already returned from a day of sightseeing and wanted to rest. We had to wait in the lobby...

The location is convenient, very close to the city center!

Good location, near to down town. You can park your rental car for 20$\day. Breakfast was delicious. The room itself was a bit odd, furniture kind of outdated, also the AC had a bad, musty smell. Friendly staff!

Great price-quality ratio and decent breakfast with good croissants and fresh breads. Our room with two twin beds had sufficient space, and had some kitchen facilities. Location was good, and (paid) parking facility at hotel was convenient.

Impeccably clean, blissfully cold air conditioning, comfortable beds, facilities to cook (microwave, toaster, kettle, hob, oven). Christina was warm and welcoming and helpful. They did NOT profiteer off the strike. It was easy to get to other parts of the city from the location.

This is a great place to stay for a family. It's centrally located but quiet. Our apartment had both a balcony and a rooftop terrace. There was tonnes of room, and the furniture and decor was tasteful. The kitchenette is reasonably well-equipped, and the whole place very clean. Laundry in the unit is very convenient! They were also super accommodating with timing for check in/out.

Very quaint bnb in the heart of the village a private oasis full of beautiful plants. Very convenient to metro. Owners are lovely and breakfast was very good.

The cottage I rented was so close to the lively atmosphere of the village - restaurants,bars etc yet it was quiet at night - what a beatiful apartment too - so cute , clean and modern My friends that are local want to use this for their out of town guests in future Would highly recommend !

Great price! Location is perfect but the building itself is dated. Renovation is much needed. Room is too dark and hallway is full of fragrance. Breakfast is a bonus nothing fancy though.

Loved our stay here, yeah it's a bit dated but the bed was comfortable, the shower was brilliant and the room/suite was huge with everything you could need. This hotel was a nice experience. We stayed one night. I was expecting to feel pain from sleeping on the bed, nope, not this one. We had a great sleep. This is obviously not your typical hotel room; it’s more like a condo setting, very spacious. It was clean but would recommend carpet cleaning, they need a little TLC.
