Hotel Faubourg Montreal Centre-Ville Downtown in Montreal

There were several times when the hotel entrance door would not open, which was very frustrating, and the front desk staff did nothing to help. During my stay, I saw several other guests struggling because the door would not open either. People had to wait until another guest came out from inside or until someone with a properly working key card arrived, and then enter at the same time.

The room itself was very spacious and had a microwave and a refrigerator, which was great. However, the coffee maker was dirty, and the water inside it was also dirty, so I didn’t feel comfortable using it. The heater was very loud, and I could hear people going up the stairs and various other noises throughout the night, which woke me up many times. The room was surprisingly very dark.

In addition, the hot water in the shower suddenly turned cold and stopped working, so I ended up taking a cold shower in the middle of winter. From the first day, the conditioner and body lotion amenities were completely empty and unusable. I asked for them to be refilled the next day, but the body lotion was still not replenished.

The bathroom ventilation fan was dirty, and there was hair from previous guests stuck to the ceiling and the bathtub. It honestly made me question whether the room was properly cleaned at all.
